I'm looking at booking some rooms at POFQ over Oct-Nov this year.

I have been keeping an eye on whats available, hoping for a Standard Room. While the Free Dining sale was on, no Standard Rooms were available. When that deal finished they appeared again, but when I checked yesterday they were not available again and today the website says there is no availability in any resort rooms for the dates chosen. If I change the dates by one day, availability appears.

My question is, should I just keep checking back to see what changes? Would I have more luck if I phoned Disney direct? (I am in New Zealand, so would rather do everything online if possible) Should I book PO Riverside and then hope that I can change my booking to French Quarter at a later date?

Appreciate any advice you might have.
Many thanks!

I just book there in October. The arrival date / departure date was not available so I booked 6 days and booked 4 days separate with departure from the 6 day and arrival on the 4 day the same. I got both river view so now I will call and see if I can merge them. If not I'll deal with it later. I'll probably change it anyway but wanted to secure fall break so it is what it is.

Cool thanks, I may look at trying that option.
