Port Orleans experts - Riverside or French Quarter??

I have got to stop reading these threads!!!

After reading the threads, I booked us room only at POFQ... then came free dining, no FQ, but POR was available... bummer, but I will call to get us back to FQ... then I read more, checked Deb's site... and now I think for our family, I've settled on POR... and snuck in and read this thread!!

We just returned from POR on 7/20 and I agree that it really depends on what you like. I think Riverside is beautiful, lots of trees and greenery and, considering all the people there, it was amazingly quiet. For me, French quarter has way too much teal, pink and purple!! But that's just me, I know alot of people love it. Either way, it's a great resort.
