How much would it cost to park at port Canaveral for 3 night cruise (4 days) ? Is it fairly straightforward and easy to park there?

For short cruises (4 nights) we have always parked in the car park, 7 nights drop the car and collect another after the cruise.
With the latest increase in parking I am not sure I would park up for any cruise now, $60 ontop of at least 2 day rental (due to collection times, you lose a day after a cruise) so depending on size of car you could be looking at about £100 to keep your car and park up on a 3 nighter.
Yes its very easy and you get to use your car for storage of un-needed luggage but dropping the car and collecting after is also very easy with major rental companies close and free shuttles to and from the cruise terminal.

Yeah I agree with Wayne to a point, but for our seven night it was just easier to park the rental car there with all the luggage for DS :)

Are you staying on site before your cruise? Probably not the cheapest option (I can't remember the price now) but we used Disney transportation to get to the Port for our cruise and then hired a car from Port Canaveral to MCO on our return home :)

Not sure what our plans pre cruise are yet. Suspect it will be on site, leaning towards parking a car, mainly for the convenience aspect.

Another option would be to head over there the day before and book a room at a nearby hotel - a number of them do a stay + park deal much like the airport hotels do over here.

A few years back we stayed at the Radisson, as there are a couple of restaurants in walking distance and they have a shuttle to take you to port which seemed pretty well organised.

It's also handy if you have plans to visit Kennedy Space Center which is just a few miles away :)

The only thing here is I don't think the hotel lots are 'secure lots' like at the port.

We stayed at the radisson though and really liked the hotel and area. Had a great breakfast at Simply Delicious :)
