Port Canaveral to MCO rentals,etc?

Hi, we're planning on flying to MCO, rent a mini-van, visit WDW and Orlando sites, then on Thursday, take the 3 day DisneyWonder cruise, and fly out of MCO right after the cruise returns on Sunday.

Is it better to:
1. keep the mini-van for the entire week (and park rental at Port Canaveral)
or
2. rent until Thursday, and rent a minivan again Sunday from Port Canaveral to drive to MCO?


If we choose option 1, are there plenty of parking spaces, how is security, what is the fee per day, etc.?

If we choose option 2, which car rentals would have a drop-off and rental availabilty at Port Canaveral, convenient for Disney Cruisers?

Avis is the closest to Port Canaveral. You would really have to check the rates for both scenarios. Sometimes it's cheaper to rent weekly. Avis has a shuttle from the ship to their office.

If the parking is the same as 2000, it was $7.00 a day and the lot is right next to the ship.
