Just looking for advice on our disembarkation day. We will have the late breakfast at 8am and then head to the airport (renting a car). I would like to drive to Orlando and then find something to do for a little while so my toddler can use up some energy before the plane flight.

1. Any ideas for easy and possibly indoor things to do near the airport? We've considered the mall (but likely going after our arrival), legoland, aquarium.

2. What time would you book your flight? I'm not in a rush, but I don't want to book so late that we are wandering around with an over tired toddler and nothing to do.

Thanks for any input :)

On disembarkation days we have done Kennedy Space Center and Orlando Science Center. OSC would be great for a young toddler from like 10-3 and have a 5 or 6 flight. We are members at our local science center so admission was free. There is a good mix of animals and activities. It is inside so no weather issues. I saw a lot of toddlers there.

At the Florida Mall (super close to the airport) they have the Crayola Experience that you might want to check out.
Also, Build a Bear workshop, Disney Store, Carlos Bakery (Cake Boss)

The Orlando Science Center looks perfect! Very toddler friendly and indoors since our cruise is the last week of August. And thank you for suggesting a flight time!!! I think that will work out perfectly for us. Thank you!

That looks like a great mall! I think we will stop there after our flight to Orlando so DD can run around a little. And maybe some precruise shopping in the disney story :)
