Oh please, oh please change the view of the Port Canaveral Cam.

Those people who run that CAM have been real frisky on Saturdays and Sundays over the last couple of months.
Perhaps Disney should set up some webcams that feed into their site. Wouldn't a couple of live shots showing the deck party be good for business?

I think the port cam has been facing that same tower for a couple of days now. Everytime I have checked the cam, that's all I have seen. What's the deal???

Or maybe it's a conspiracy and they know when we check it to see the Magic and the Wonder and deliberately have it facing another way! Grrrrrrr.
If Verandah Man can't see it when he checks then I guess I'm out of luck!

we agree Disney cruise line sholud have there oun couple of port cams one showing the ship and one to show the deck party w cant wiat till we can cruise again

Did they move the cam because of Thurs. Nights rocket launch for the Japaneese comunication satalite. If so they should move it back sometime

What they don't realize is that: WE DON'T WANT HELP!!!! We like our addiction! We NEED to see the boat...it gives us hope...it makes us smile, and it makes my children be quiet for .0005 seconds! AAAH, here's hoping they have it pointed at the ships again before my cruise in July

I did send an e-mail about the port cam facing that tower across the channel to the port cam operators, don't know if it will do any good. Only time will tell.

Boy I'm glad to see I'm not the only one addicted to the PC webcam. I was beginning to think there was something wrong with me. I have saved so many picture of the Wonder and The Magic pushing off and cruising down the channel if I could string them all together they would make a movie. My favorite time is around 5 or so when I know the folks on board are delirious and I share vicariously in their joy. Oh well, be on the Magic soon, thank God. Wes

My name is Nancy and I am a port cam addict. I admit it I am addicted to the port cam. How else can I feed my addiction and get a 'DCL fix' before I sail in September?

DIS DCL board = group therapy for of us who are addicts!

Has anyone asked DCL to install a web cam at the port? We would all be on it at least 3 days a week. Wow, imagine watching the boarding, the boat drill, the sailaway party! Wheeeeeeeee!
For now I have to wait until the Magic passes Two Palms.

Apparantly, if you go to Local6.com website........... click on Weather..........then choose the Port Canaveral cam, you are able to view the ships. So Im told by DH!Fingers crossed. Nat

That's the right cam, it has been facing in that same direction for the past couple of days. It was facing in that direction yesterday when I got a shot of the Magic sailing up the Port Canaveral channel.

Okay you webcam addicts: just WHERE is the two palms webcam situated? We drove down to the beach at the end of the PC pier in March, and spent 30 mins trying to find the exact location of the webcam!Is it near the bridge by the shops,as you head for the beach? It must be very well hidden! Nat
