Port call letters for Cape Canaveral

I’m trying to set up the passport app for a few trips out of the country. I’ve typed in Port Canaveral several times and it won’t register. It shows Port Everglades as PEV, but I don’t know the letters for our port.

The Mobile Passport app works only at Port Everglades at this time.

Customs at PC is pretty efficient; not having the app won't be a big inconvenience.

I’m getting ready any way I can. Forgot my passport on a plane in Vancouver 2 years ago. Worse 30 hours I’ve experienced traveling, the fear, the worry. I’m trying to cover all my bases.

I don't know how it was picked. I was just letting you know that you wouldn't find Port Canaveral on the list.

I’m getting ready any way I can. Forgot my passport on a plane in Vancouver 2 years ago. Worse 30 hours I’ve experienced traveling, the fear, the worry. I’m trying to cover all my bases.

Also just an FYI, but even with mobile passport you still need your passport...it expedites the process but will not expedite a missing passport process

How does expedite the process? Why would they even care if I have it on my phone, if I have to have my passport with me anyway?
Do I have to say all those Hail Mary’s for my obscenities while trying to install the program for nothing?

At airports it allows you to go through a separate queue, instead of waiting in a line with passengers from not only your plane but possibly other planes to use a limited amount of Automated Passport Control kiosks where you have to input everything. With the mobile passport app, you go through a line and scan a QR code. The mobile passport app is more of a replacement for the declaration form, and gives the Border Control agent everything they need on their computer screen.

We sailed out of Port Everglades on Royal Caribbean and used the app. We waited in a separate line for customs but still had to wait our turn with the rest of the non-app folks. We were also asked for our physical passports.

So it will help me when I go to Mexico in April, but not helpful with my cruise. So in April what do I look for when I get to the airport.(both US and Mexico)

When you return to the US look for Mobile Passport signs, most likely will be near Global Entry, but not necessarily.
