Port arrival time same for 3 day as 7 day?

We booked a last minute 3 day cruise, last night..we leave Thursday. Does the port open up at approx 10:30am just like for the 7 day, boarding approx 12 to 1pm?

PS: Did you get a last minute deal? I have heard conflicting stories.
1- you pay more if you book late
2- you can get great last minute deals as they try to fill the ship.

As far as last minute deal..not sure...they gave us a FL resident rate..it was a lot cheaper than what was on the website..I went directly through DCL.

I still can't believe we did this..lol!

Normally, the rate increases dramatically the closer you get to the cruise. FL resident rates, which are announced around 2 months before the cruise, are the exception.
