Now I see in the OP siggie that it is the POFQ. Sometimes people combine the acronyms for POFQ and POR so it's not clear which one they are asking about
Anyways, I'm a big fan of building four at the POFQ. It's the closest building to the bust stop and food court. Maybe a two or three minute walk to the pool, and less than five to the boat dock.
We were in Building 5 Courtyard View last April and we loved it!!! It was quiet but close to everything. The resort is small....so anywhere would be fine but we loved building 5.
Good question! I'll be staying there in just a few DAYS and have no idea where I might want to reauest a room. I'm not picky about having a water view, in fact I think I would prefer a courtyard view. I'm used to staying at CSR where distance is definitely an issue!
It would all depend on what you want to be closest too but this resort is not very large and you can easily get from on end to the other without any problem you can see maps and pictures on the POFQ FAQ page start at page 1.
Another vote for building 4. Even though we faced the parking lot, there was so much greenery we didn't notice. I hope you enjoy your trip-I feel this is a nice and relaxing resort.
I'm so glad that I found this thread- my husband and I will be there for our honeymoon in October, now we have a lot more information about the resort.
we stayed building three with teenagers. close to the arcade and food court. also stayed in a corner room which has the extra window that i really loved. i could sit at the table and see 2 different views, very nice.
We are staying there in August and I've been debating what to request also. I was leaning to 5 or 6 but I want a non-smoking room and I heard part or all of 6 is smoking? Does anyone know or have stayed in 6? Maybe I should stick to 5 or 4. Any advice appreciated!
I am debating as well. Looking at building 4, 3 and 5. I'd like to be close to the food court and bus stop and based on the map #4 looks to be the closest. However we also want to be close to walk to Riverside and looking at the map I'm not sure which direction POR is--left or right.
