We just spent 6 nights there last week and liked it as usual, as it was our 5th or 6th stay there in 20 years. The room refurbishments are very nice and all the furniture looks and feels a bit more 'solid' than the old stuff. The flatscreen above the dresser is very large and they have eliminated those two pedestal sinks and have sunk the sinks in one long counter with a shallow shelf above that so there is more room to put your stuff. The carpet is gone, replaced by what looks like wood-look vinyl flooring which I'm sure is better for maintenance but is cold on your feet so we wore socks while in the room. The room lighting is awful! Two glaring lights are above the beds, so bad that my daughter had to get on the bed and unscrew one light from each fixture. Where are the dimmer switches? Plus, the lighting is all from the ceilings and there is no light on the little table next to the door. Bad lighting is a pet peeve of mine. The bathroom area mirror light is pretty good though. The beds are so high that there is room under the beds for your empty suitcase but I almost had to do a running jump to get up on the bed. Overall, there is a good, solid look to the rooms and not too much muss and fuss to the decorating. Bring a nightlight though as there is one small light in the dressing area which might not bee enough to enable you to see in the middle of the night. I always carry a small string of Christmas lights in my suitcase to function as 'party lights' and a nightlight.

Thank you, we’re at POFQ in February. How was the bus service? Did you share with POR at all?

We just checked out from our first stay there and only shared a bus a few times. Wasn’t to bad. First pickup and first drop off. We really enjoyed our stay there, 7 nights.

Did you screw the light bulbs back in so that the lighting will be bright enough for the next guest, as intended?
