POR wheelchair

Posted on resort thread but maybe this is the correct place to post. Anywho, family member recently having back issues, will need wheelchair. Will POR have wheelchair to use at resort? I’m thinking bite the bullet and rent from offsite agency but mom is thinking otherwise…. Any advise?

the resorts do not have wheelchairs for guests to use. you will need to rent from offsite if your family member needs one at resort

PP is correct. The few wheelchairs that may be at a resort are restricted for emergency use only. They will not allow a guest to borrow and use around the resort, to say nothing of going to the parks with it. ScooterBug will deliver a rental wheelchair through Bell Services, or you can rent from any of several other vendors who will meet you in-person to deliver/pick-up the wheelchair. Or consider if an ECV might allow your family member more independence without relying on a pusher.
