POR vs CBR

i have have a land/sea pkg for mar 04. i choose cbr because of the slightly larger rooms, the beach and being able to watch the fireworks from epcot.

now i looked at por and i really liked the setting and the slide for the pool.

i have a 3 and 4 yr old with me. any suggestions as to which resort i should go with?

Ok Here's my two cents. We have been to CBR. Very nice for the kids. Beach areas and lots of quiet pools. Any village good except South Trinidad (for us anyway, too far to the main area and food court).

We were going to stay at POR until I discovered the govt rate for the Dolphin. We wanted to try it out because it looked really great and I had read alot of nice things about the resort from this board. Old Man Island seemed to be really great for kids. I have to say that the main pool at CBR is nice, but it is not that spectacular.

The Disney transporation was good. Although there are stops inside the resort at each village (depends on where you get on or off as to how many).

Hello Maps.

I have stayed at both POR-french quarter and CBR. Personally, I would recommend POR if the french quarter is open. The slide is great for small children, and I found the resort to be much smaller than CBR- great at the end of the day to have a short walk to the food centre. When we stayed at CBR, we were all the way accross from the main building, so we had to drive to get anywhere, and the pool wasn't all the exciting.

We have stayed at POR and CBR and my kids liked CBR better. You can't go wrong with either choice. The pool is bigger at POR but at CBR the main pool is right night to the food court.
