POR trundle bed?

We are booked at POR next March. We would like, but do not need, a trundle bed. I did not request a room with one since I don't want to pay for it when we don't absolutely need it. But a CM just told me we may end up with one anyway (great) but if we use it, we will be charged at check out. Is this true? It seems a little weird to have a bed in a room that you can't use unless you pay more. Anyone know the deal?

We stayed there last year. Me, wife, and 13 yr old son. He used trundle bed because he liked it, meaning one big bed was not used, although messed up during night time tv watching. We were not charged for extra bed, I assume due to head count in room.
