POR to the Boardwalk and back

Thinking of spending our first day at the boardwalk, what would be the best/easiest way to get from POR to the boardwalk and back?

Easiest? Uber/Taxi Cheapest...Is there a boat from POR to Disney Springs? Then take the bus from DS to Boardwalk

Easiest? Taxi or Uber to BWI. Disney Transport? Bus to DHS then boat to BWI.

FWIW, there's not much going on along the Boardwalk in the daytime.

The boat to DS may take a little longer than a bus but it's worth doing because it's a lovely trip.

Just bus is to Epcot and walk. Unless you don't have a hopper of course.

Well, actually, she wouldn't need a hopper since she says that Boardwalk is all she would be doing day 1, but she would need to have enough days on her ticket.

True although the walk isn't bad and probably quicker if you have just missed the boat.
