Hello We have reservation at cape may cafe. Whats the best way to get from POR to the beach club? Thanks for your help!!! :thumbsup2

Well...

You can take a bus to EPCOT then walk over or take a boat over

or

You can take a bus to Downtown Disney and then transfer to the Beach Club bus

More efficient would be to skip Epcot (unless you've been there earlier in the day or you have park hoppers and have been at some park that day).

Take the bus to DHS, then walk or take the Friendship Boat to Beach Club.

Take the bus to MK or AK, then transfer to the YC/BC bus.

As indicated above, take the bus (or boat) to DtD, then board the YC/BC bus.

Or, faster but more expensive - take a taxi directly from one resort to the other.

Unless you'll have a car - in that case, ask Bell Services for directions.

The walk from the bus is incredibly long to get into Epcot - we were at SSR last year and were in the last spot for the buses.

Then the walk over to the Friendship Boat dock is also quite long.....it is between Canada and France. Then you have to wait for the boat to arrive and make its rounds to YC/BC/BW/Swan/Dolphin depending on which way it picked you up. On the way back, you have to wait for the boat to make its rounds all over again before it gets to the BC.

Best to do what Katie said.....

Q: What is the best way ... ?
A1: Not enough information to answer your question, i.e. describe "best".
A2: Take the bus to DHS, then walk or take the Friendship Boat to Beach Club
. I'm the parrot with the patch over one eye. I'll leave it as an exercise as to where to find me at Magic Kingdom.

Driving directions from POR (Riverside) to Beach Club:

Exiting POR, turn left (onto Bonnet Creek Drive not to be confused with Bonnet Creek resort complex).
Then turn right onto the main main drag (Buena Vista Drive).
Then turn right at the Boardwalk and Disney Studios intersection. Beach Club will be on the left, after you pass Boardwalk and did not succeed in collecting $200. for passing Go.

I would strongly advise not taking the bus to downtown disney and switching transferring to the Beach Club bus. We have done this in the past and the drive from DTD to the Beach club was almost 1 hour. this did not even count the bus from AKL to DTD.

The bus route from DTD to the BC stops at the following places

1. Typhoon Lagoon
2. Boardwalk
3. Swan
4. Dolphin
5. Yacht Club
6. Beach Club

Actually the buses from the parks follow the exact same route, with the exception of stopping at Typhoon Lagoon. That was my big beef with staying at the Dolphin a few years ago - on every bus, we had to make that big loop and it did get tiring after a while, especially being the last stop.
