POR to Boardwalk/Spoodles

We have an ADR for Spoodles for our last night of the trip. I already figure that we'll either take a bus to Epcot and get to Boardwalk through the International Gateway or go to MGM and take the boat over. But since we may be there later than when the parks close, what should we do about transportation back from Boardwalk? We won't be renting a car. I know there are taxis, so I can't imagine a cab ride from Boardwalk to POR would be that much.

Any ideas? Thanks!

You could take a cab, or take a bus to DTD and transfer to POR.

You probably don't want to go the DTD route unless you plan on spending some time there. It would take quite a while to get there and then find the bus back to your resort. If Epcot or the Studios is having an EMH that night you can go to either one and get a bus directly back to your resort. For Epcot you would have to enter via the International Gateway. Note that it is a LONG walk from the IG of Epcot to the main entrance. For the Studios you would not need an admission to get to the buses. You can walk or take the Friendship boats to the Studios from the Boardwalk. Either way will take about 15 minutes.
Taxis are available at all of the Epcot resorts. Normally they are waiting at the main entrance. If one is not there the Cast Member outside will get one for you right away if you decide to go in this direction.
