POR room only discount question

I was wondering what the percent off was for the room only code that was out last year for April? I see that was for check in starting April13, but doesn't give the amount just 5%-30%.....anyone remember? We rented points last year and DH doesn't want to do that again, it WAS cheaper, but didn't like the sofa bed sleeping situation, so we are booked for next trip at POR right now, with AAA, hoping something more comes out

I'm going to post on this also because I would like this info too. I was searching internet for this yesterday since I am wanting to book beginning of june and saw the historical offers on mousesavers.

yeah I see there was something, just not the break down on which resort had which percent right now I have a AAA discount, but if the room only will be more than I will go with that, and maybe tickets....or keep the AAA and get tickets from UT cheaper. Good Luck everyone!

I saw that but they don't give the breakdown on the discount each resort had. It just shows 5-30%....at least where I was looking. If there is another page that shows specifics would like to know .

No, they are not that specific. No reason to be. Since there is no way of anticipating exactly what resorts will be popular during what weeks a year in advance and which ones need promos, that data is unnecessary. It fluctuates too much and would give people unnecessary high expectations for the following year.

In addition, it is impossible for mousesavers to incorporate the data of someone who called, asked about a discount and then about a pin code attached to their name. Skews the data.

I will keep my AAA until something else comes out, so at least I know what I am getting as far as discounts....I was just looking to see what others had received last year for the same time period at POR. was it 15%, 20%, 25%? Just wondering? Pricing out different scenarios with tickets/without tickets/with dining/ and without dining Thank to anyone who booked at POR last year with a code!!!!

I apologize for barging in here, because I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question, but - can you tell us what the AAA room-only discount is for POR for 2013?

Ok. After looking around I found this on portorleans.org. I think this answers the question....

20% off rooms at Port Orleans Riverside (reduced to 15% for Memorial Day weekend, 25/26/27 May)
5% off rooms at Port Orleans French Quarter

softballmom3 thanks! I was on that site too and didn't see that If history repeats itself then YES please I will take the 20% off, if not its ok, I believe I got 10% off with AAA. That is for April, other times of the year it may be less or more

I think the ONLY reason I found it was because I googled Port Orleans Riverside room discount spring 2012 . Actually couldn't believe I found it. I had wondered what AAA discount was--been debating on whether it would be worth getting or not. On eBay 2 years ago I purchased a AAA parking pass not realizing it was a "no-no"....we did use it and I didn't feel too bad because I took my in-laws w/ us who were AAA members. \

As soon as I get DH to agree I am booking POR for early June!

softballmom cool!! We have AAA and never used it for a room at disney parking at the airport yes and various other discounts... hope you get a good discount for June!!! I am crossing my fingers for april!
