Are children allowed at the quiet pools? I have toddlers and although I would like to use the main pool, I'm afraid it might be too crowded or rowdy and the Quiet Pool would be better on some days. Is this looked down upon? Or will we be welcome?

One more question...I think the answer is yes but does POR have towels for the guests at the pools?

I used the quiet pool that was between Oak Manor and Parterre Place and there were children there. There were no signs saying they were not allowed. There are no slides etc so I'm sure the older kids prefer the main pool.
There were towels there, and the laundry is also right there, it was nice to do my laundry and take a swim.

When we went in October of 2004, children were allowd in the quiet pools

You will be fine in the quiet pool. The term quiet just refers to no slides, smaller area, less crowded. My kids actually preferred it there on crowded days.

We stayed on the first floor of Oak Manor facing the quiet pool. We literally had the pool to ourselves most of the time. My girls swam while I did laundry!! They made it over to the main pool once and were done. They liked having the quiet pool to themselves.

I went for an early morning swim once at the quiet pool in AB section. The water was really warm and it was lovely, but then some teens appeared - I think they had been to Pleasure Island and spoilt it for me:) Beware what goes on in the quiet pools at night;)
