POR/POFQ Boat

What are the running times of the boat at PO?
Does it vary by season?
I seem to remember seeing a pic of the sign saying that there were boats b/w POR & POFQ for most of the day but only to DowntownDisney after 4 pm? Is that correct? If so, I will be bummed. We planned on checking in around 11am, and heading over to DD for lunch at Rainforest Cafe and walking around. I will also need to activate our AP.

I thought the boat ran off and on all day? But I didn't read the fine print. Just saw the boat coming & going. BUT they do have buses to DTD running too. So if it is not available the bus is.

I thought they ran all day also, at least they use to?

last year (may/june) the boats ran every 15-20 min all day until like 8 or 9 pm!!! I'm sure it is still the same

My Sassagoula Times (resort directory of services) from Dec 04 states "Boats depart daily between French Quarter and Riverside, 9:00 am-11:00 pm, weather permitting. Boat service to Downtown Disney departs from French Quarter and Riverside daily 11:00 am-11:00 pm, weather permitting." I think that they went every 1/2 hour until 4 or so then every 15 minutes. Also, the boat from Riverside stops at French Quarter somewhere too.

The boat seems to run year around unless there are high winds. It is a flat bottom boat and it can get blown around pretty good when it is real windy. The boat does run to DTD in time for lunch; we did that in January. We ate at Wolfgang Puck's Express and enjoyed it a lot.
