POR in January- Romantic Trip for Two

Hi I just found your trip report and enjoyed reading it and seeing all your pics! Count me as someone else who likes wearing dresses to the park.

Hi blairbear! Thanks for dropping by! I am having some serious Disney withdrawals as usual and fund myself hanging out on DisBoards to stay in the loop! Looks like its going to be a while until we go again... :sad1:

Hey girl!! I'm a little late joining in, but I am here now! :goodvibes

Ohhh- how lucky!! Two trips to Disney in one year!? I am sooo jealous! The DBF and I just bought our first home last summer and then with our recent 10 day trip it doesn't look like we'll be going back to Disney for a while! I hope you are busy enjoying your trip with your mom!!

I know I can't believe it either! My trips are always at least a year apart if not multiple years but this somehow just came together sort of unexpectedly. It made leaving in February a teeny tiny bit less sad.

But buying a home is so exciting! Congratulations!! :yay:

Glad you could join in- I am just starting to get towards the end of your TR- I will read a bit as I fall asleep each night and pick up where I left off the next day! :surfweb:

Thanks heathsf - Loving your TR so far.. just getting through the part where you went all commando to get FP for Soarin and I have to say... I had my commando moments too even if there weren't crazy crowds during our trip!! Haha- so I can totally relate!

:worship: Thanks!

I just finished reading your TR and loved it. My soon-to-be DH and I are going to be Disneymooning in October so honeymoon TR's are like crack to me right now. I can't get enough of them.

On another note, I hardly ever get to dress up either so all my cute summer dresses are coming out of the closet for this trip. I've already got a dress picked out for when we go to California Grill (it's the same one I was wearing on the night he proposed)!

Hi:wave: neighbor!

I had to follow you over from Queila's trip report. At first I wanted to see what you thought of Captain's Grill and then I saw that you are from CT too.

I can't believe that you are done with your report already. I really enjoyed all of your pictures and reviews of the places you ate. It looks like you had a great trip. :thumbsup2

Howdy Neighbor~

How exciting- another CT resident heading to Disney!! Pack me with you please!!!

Great TR! I followed you over from my TR the other day, but was just lurking and reading a few posts here and there when I could find some time. I finally finished!

This TR is very helpful for me, because DW and I are going on a last-minute trip with just the two of us from April 2 - 5 to celebrate both of our 40th birthdays. I really want to get a dinner at California Grill, but they are (of course) booked up. I will keep trying up until we leave - and may even have to try a walk-up around 4:30pm or so if we don't get one. I feel it would be worth the try.

You remind me of one of my nieces - you look very much alike! So I almost feel like family. LOL. (Wait, that may have just sounded kind of creepy, huh?!)

Not creepy at all- from the looks of your profile it would be amazing to be one of the family... Of course- that is- if you agree to take your pseudo-niece on more Disney adventures!! haha!!

Glad my TR could help- I soaked up as much DIS-knowledge as I could before our trip and it feels good to pass it on! Enjoy!!

A little late, but I just read through your TR and I really enjoyed it.:thumbsup2

I don't know if I'll be able to stop craving Flame Tree today now haha Looks SO good!

Just finished reading your TR and loved it - I like the relaxed approach you took to going to the parks. I'm one of those people who has to be at the park at opening, and sometimes I wish I wasn't so strict with myself about this ;)

I started collecting Vinylmations when I was in Disneyland in September, so I definitely know how addictive they are! I can't wait to get some more on our upcoming trip!

I am having ribs tonight! I look over my Disney pictures when I am just getting over being sick and usually get my appetite right back!! Haha- so looking back at my pictures now has inspired my dinner!! Glad you liked the pictures- I used to search DISboards for food porn before going too!!

We had taken a 5 day trip in June of 2009 and spent the entire time running around trying to get everything in! By the time we got home we needed a vacation to recover from our vacation. And of course- before we have even left the parks we were planning our next trip back! So when it came time to plan this trip we decided to take a few more days so that we did have time to be more relaxed about our approach. Of course- that didn't stop me from creating a checklist of places we needed to hit before leaving... but at least when we returned home I was well rested and relaxed!
That is until I saw my Disney Visa statement with all my charges!!

Enjoyed your report. Great pictures. Thanks for posting.

Glad you enjoyed it! I am taking a peek at your profile now!
