POR Free Dining

Was anyone able to get FD at POR for a package starting October 20 or October 21st? I called the first day the of the FD promotion and was disappointed that the FD was unavailable for a check-in on one of these two dates. Has anyone been able to acquire this resort for these check-in dates more recently? CM told me that they often open more rooms up at later dates but my weekly phone calls to acquire a room at either POR or Beach Club for a check in October 20 or October 21st have had no luck

We are staying at POR in November. I had to upgrade our room because the standard and royal rooms were already gone by 9:00 AM on the 12th. We ended up with a royal garden view. Did you try different room types to check their availability? I just ran through several until I found one that would make us happy and was available for FD.

POP Century and FW Cabins have availability. Have you tried those? Maybe it is your end dates overlapping with F & W that are causing the problem. It is hard to play around with different options without knowing your end dates.

My family checks in to a RR at POR on 10/20. I have a Disney Visa so I called on the 12th of July. I had to upgrade to a river view to get FD, but I'm still saving money.

I called the first day (and checked online) and was able to get a POR Royal Room with free dining for that same weekend - Oct. 19-22. If I remember correctly, there were only a couple of POR categories that qualified. I was very happy that our chosen category was available.

You can also try booking online. On the Disney website click on "Special Offers" under the Packages tab.

It's possible the room category you are looking at is booked up for some of the nights you want so it will come up unavailable. You can try checking other room categories or resorts.
