POR ---> Epcot

We have a 9:20 ADR for breakfast at Akershus, then a day in Epcot til about 3. We will return to POR for a nap and a swim, then head back to Epcot for a 7pm ADR at Via Napoli. After dinner, we would like to find a spot on the showcase and watch Illuminations. We will have a car available. Should I just drive it myself or go park at the TTC and hop on the monorail to Epcot for these ADRs ? We would like to take the monorail if possible for the experience, just don't want to push it running late for any of our meals. Any suggestions on what times to leave POR if we are taking the monorail to be safe ?? Thanks in advance...

Since EPCOT does not have a TTC-like arrangement for parking (which makes it take longer at MK), I'd just drive to and from the EPCOT lot. You'll need to be at the gate before 9:00 to make your ADR in time (that's a long walk).

Alternatively, if you'd like to limit the walking somewhat and have loads of time to spare, you could park at DHS, then take the boat over to EPCOT's Intl. Gateway, which is much closer to both of your ADRs. But this will take at least twice as long as just driving to the front parking lot at EPCOT. I love that boat ride, though it can never be said that it's faster than just driving to EPCOT.

If you really want to do the whole monorail thing....I would drive to the TTC in the morning...around 8ish. Take the monorail to Epcot then. Then return to the TTC at 3ish and drive back to POR. Then you can drive right to Epcot for dinner. I find that once you get back to the resort, and swim and relax, you tend to lose track of time. So....if you drive to Epcot, you can spend more time at POR and not worry about the time....as much any way.
