POR- Elevator Rooms?

Hi folks-

My mother will be joining us on this upcoming trip and requires a roll-in shower. We will be staying in a garden view royal room at POR and I have been researching the accessible rooms, and it appears that the only available rooms under these stipulations are right next to elevators... eek!

Has anyone stayed in these rooms- or even other rooms by the elevators? How loud is it? Normally I wouldn't be terribly worried but we will also have a six-year-old who will get cranky without good sleep!

No clue on the noise levels of elevator adjacent rooms! I just wanted to let you know that if you have a chance you could always call and ask about moving to a Royal roll-in shower room with a river view! Both of these rooms are in the same building as your current room, and they're corner rooms, AND they're far far away from the elevators! LOL I hope you guys have a blast, the rooms and the resort are beautiful!!

I haven't stayed right next to an elevator, but the elevators in the mansions second are kind of isolated in a hallway with a staircase as well. POR is SO quiet, I can't imagine the elevator being an issue. To be honest we were there for a week using the elevator because my mom used a scooter and we never encountered another guest even using the elevator at the same time we were.
