We will be staying at POR for the first time next week. We stayed at other resorts at this time and the pool, food court, etc. was not crowded. I read how some say the buses are full and the resort is large. I one that if i need to wait for another bus for 20 min. so what because you could wait longer for a ride in the park. But with the free dining is the POR crowded?

just returned POR 9/3-9/6

there are people there but except for main pool it never feels crowded at all.
food courts could have been cleaner but not to bad. (no overflowing trash)

buses just keep coming so not to bad getting around EXCEPT back from parks at closing. awful awful awful.

take your walking shoes. not sure I'd choose this resort again as everything is a hike.

hot, hot, hot in FL still but to be expected. Parks very uncrowded.

front desk registration and concierge staff were little more than civil ,no magic or even pleasantness. my response to that was to just "kill them with kindness" meaning being overly sweet and nice back to their surelyness! I still don't think they got it. oh well.

seemed to take a long time to get anything done, can't imagine being there in a crowed time unless they triple the staff and effort! check in took us 30 minutes with only a few families in front of us.

more questions, ask away.
