POR -- Campfire on the Bayou

Has anyone ever done this activity at POR? It sounds like a smaller version of what they have at Fort Wilderness, without the movie. I thought it would be a different sort of evening activity. My oldest DS is in scouts, and since we do the "family" camping thing, all of my kids love to do the s'mores thing.

The resort listing says they are on Sun. and Thurs. from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

"The seasonal program Campfire on de' Bayou is offered October through February only on Sunday and Thursday nights, 6:30 - 8 p.m., at Port Orleans Resort (weather permitting).

Cast members read stories about the resort and have guest sing-alongs at the campfire site located behind the Fishin' Hole at Ol' Man Island. No reservations are necessary. The price for s'more kits is $5.25 (tax included)."

You can get info at the front desk at POR (& probably POFQ) ! It is tons of fun and a wonderful resort!
