Just back last night from a 6 day stay at POR, during New Year's week. I've seen so many threads around here complaining about the POR buses and frightening people about this resort.....so, I just wanted to come and post our positive experience and alleviate some fears.
We had a wonderful experience with the buses. It was crowded and we did have to stand a few times, but I expected that. We also had to wait over 20 minutes once for a bus to MK around 4:30 p.m., but that was the longest we ever waited for a bus to any park or DD (it was sooooo COLD two days that the boats to DD stopped running and we had to take a bus), and returning to the resort was even better. Never waited more than 5 minutes. Overall, I'd give it an A during this busy time of year!!
