I've been reading the threads here on POR since I'm planning on staying there this coming June and I'm a little confused. Some threads read that the bus stop first at POR and then POFQ and visa-versa, the same with the DTD boats. Can someone that has stayed recently (at least this year) say which one is it. Do busses to the parks stop at POR first and do the DTD boats pick up at POR 1st and then POFQ or visa versa. It makes a world of difference to me since I have bad knees and waiting time is crucial for me. And while I'm asking questions, am I understanding correctly that the Mansions are the closest to the food and pools? Thanks.:teeth: :wave2:

Just returned from the resort on 10/15 and the busses were random - some would come and would already have people on them from French Quarter and then other times they would be empty - there are benches at the bus stops at POR so you shouldn't have a problem waiting for the busses.

The boats going to DTD will load first at Riverside since it is the furthest location from DTD and then will stop on its way to pick up people at FQ. On the way back, they stop at FQ and then Riverside - you may have to stand while waiting for the boat to DTD but the wait isn't usually very long.

There are buildings in both sections (the mansions and alligator bayou) that are close to the food court and the main pool - there is a resort map on wdw info and here is the link. Oak Manor in the mansions and building 14 in AB are the two closest buildings to the main building with the food court.

Thanks for your speedy reply. I assume that the Depot are the bus depots, I'd be interested in staying near one since we are the most tired when we come back from the parks. Have you stayed in Magnolia Terrace? Thanks for your help.:teeth:
