POR 2016 rate

So I booked a room at POR for last week of February 2016 (week after presidents day break for everyone else). It is weird. The cm is like this will lock your rate but then I asked would the rates be adjusted according to the 2016 rates when they are released? And she said yes . I felt like it was a mixed message. Can anyone help clarify? Also, we got POR RR for 263.00 weekday/293.00 weekend. Does anyone anticipate discounts for this time next year? TIA!

I don't think it is locked in, it will be adjusted when 2016 rates come out. Typically they give you the highest current year rate.
