POR ---> 1900 Park Fare for Dinner

We are staying at POR and have a 6:20 ADR at 1900 Park Fare on a Wednesday evening. After dinner, we would like to go back into MK and either try to see the MSEP or Wishes (either or, probably not both), then head back to the hotel. We will have a car. Would you recommend driving our own car to GF and then hopping on the monorail to go over to MK after dinner ? Will they let me leave my car in the parking lot at GF for a few hours after dinner or will I have to move it after we eat to the TTC parking lot ? Also, what time should we leave POR to make our 6:20 ADR ? Thanks in advance....

I would just park in the TTC lot, then take the monorail to the GF. Self-parking at the GF is not all that terrific. And you really shouldn't be leaving your car there while you're in the MK. The you can take the monorail to the MK after dinner. Then, monorail or ferry to the TTC when you leave MK.

I'd budget about 90 minutes for the entire one way trip. You probably won't need that long, but that should cover a wait for the parking lot tram at the TTC, the tram ride, a wait for the resort loop monorail, the monorail ride, and also being there hopefully a little early for the ADR to look around the resort if you'd like. Returning from MK at the end of the night might take a little longer because of the crowds leaving then.

In this case, even with a car, I would use Disney transportation. Bus to MK, then monorail or boat to GF for dinner. After dinner, boat or monorail to MK and bus back to POR after your time at MK. I am recommending this because the bus to/from POR gets you to the MK entrance, bypassing the TTC. With a car, you have to get to/from the TTC (or the GF if you opt to pay for valet parking) in addition to travel to/from MK and POR.
