They're desperate for a better life. It's a very courageous thing they're doing... they need all the help we can give them. There's not much we can do from here, but we can pray for them and that's what I'm doing now.

At least this time we can help them. They probably would have risen up on day one but were waiting to see which way the wind was blowing. Can't say I blame them after '91. Hopefully word will get out and there will be more risings like this.

MSNBC.com reports that the uprising has been confirmed!!! The bravery of those citizens must be incredible.

I heard about the uprising about 15 minutes ago. How brave those citizens of Iraq must be to go against Saddam's militia.

What I also heard is that many of these Iraqi militia "thugs" are wearing U.S. and coalition uniforms, posing as our soldiers. Then, when the citizens surrender to them with the white flags, they are executed by these imposters! How sick is that? Those followers of Saddam are despicable monsters to say the least!!!

I feel so sorry for the innocent people of Iraq. Let's hope and pray that our troops can put an end to Saddam's crimes against humanity once and for all!
