Popular attraction you can live without..

I rarely ride Soarin' I don't get the hype for a very mediocre attraction, so if it's more than 20mins I'm skipping it.
I usually skip Space Mountain too, I like it but It's kinda meh.
If you had to pick any version of Space Mountain in the Disney park system... the Disneyland one takes the cake. The Magic Kingdom version is in dire need of refurbishment.

I think they both need replacing with the actual space age one that Tokyo is getting.
I just wish they would gut tomorrowland and start again. The entire land is just so sad.
I agree though, I like it better than WDW.

?

Toontown is from Roger Rabbit. The land was suppose to be largely on the movie but the other Roger Rabbit themed attractions were cancelled and the land became a twin of WDW’s Mickey’s Birthday / Starland. A semi Toontown, as originally planned (Roger Rabbit), was suppose to be built opening day Disney-MGM Studios but wad cancelled as well.

And that goes to show how the current theme has NOTHING to do with RR and just how few average guests even know that the original intent of the land.

Toontown is a huge piece of Roger Rabbit. It’s like as if Disney built Springfield, put Mikey and Minnie in it, and you’re arguing The Simpsons should be evicted.

Many rides at DL use old IP kids wouldn’t be familiar with. Mr. Toad, Alice in Wonderland, etc. Heck, even Bier Rabbit/ Song of the South was unknown to all but a few.

agree, My kids love Roger Rabbit, they've seen the movie a few times and like it. They also know who Toad is and Brer Rabbit because I'm a huge fan and have all my books from when I was a kid that they now read.

not everything needs to be "current" to be enjoyed - and heck, maybe kids can watch some of the older classics - they may just become their new favourites.
