Okay everyone, let's keep our fingers crossed that kat3668 has no problems today picking up our fridge. ixiedust: I'm concerned since due to the "no show", no contact, no nothing , of locon, our fridge, etc. have been in storage for the longest time in a long time. (Since 2/16).

I sent kat3668 my contact info and asked her to contact me and let me know how everything goes, either way. Once I hear from her, I'll post it here so everyone following can breathe a little easier.

I change the current list (currently posted on page 50). To avoid confusion, I used to go back to previous lists and make a note that the current list could be found on page #______. However, recently someone was looking at a list with last year's dates on it and asking for them for this year. So....in an effort to minimize any more confusion I have gone back and eliminated all references to pages that I could find, and noted that to access current list you need to click on link in my signature (which I change whenever I relocate list to new page)

I try to move the list to a new page once it's located 3, or more, pages back. However, I want it to be the first post, so I don't know until I post a reply where it will fall. If I get the top of the page, I will, sometimes, move the page to that location.

Unfortunately, I can't change the first post (by brymolmom) which references page 25, as I didn't post it. If I had known that this swap would be still going after 18+ months, I would have kept the thread I originally started which I had the first post on. I just checked page 25 and eliminated that list with a link to current list.

Hope this helps everybody who is looking at dates.

I just checked my voice mail and I did get a call from kat3668 at 5:15 a.m. (Yikes!) and she said she has the fridge, toaster, and coffee pot.

However, she said the fridge is black. When I used it, it was white. So my question is to those of you who recently used it, was it white, or black. And what size. The one I had in Sept. was white, and bigger than the one POP rents out.
Just curious as to when it changed it's color?

One more thing, we may have an opening 6/21 to 6/28 (actually to 7/1) I sent the swapper on our list a PM a few days back since I saw her name on another swap and she hasn't confirmed ours. (Probably forgot she was in 2)

So, if I don't hear from her by a.m. of March 2, I will release those days into the pool.

I had the fridge from Jan 11-21 and it was still white then. It was also very tall and much bigger than the PoP fridges. I added the coffee pot (12 cup) and toaster while there. Both were white too. I had also taped your name and phone number on the top of the fridge as well as on the box in a few places. Also added many lime green Mickey heads. Very interesting turn of events

Thanks for info-I think POP couldnt' find ours and made a substititute again. I'll see if I can track down ours, if not then we'll just have to make do with what the gave us.

Sadly this is true They will close on May 11th.

I don't know. I know no one bought a new fridge as the last swapper verified, with me, that she had the original white one and had put the coffee pot and toaster inside(almost 2 weeks ago). I think, that along with alot of fridges POP has been storing, they also have toasters and coffee pots. In Sept, when the swapper after me was given a different fridge (one without a freezer) they were also given a toaster and coffee pot as well. I was contacted by POP L&F about 2 weeks later that they had ours there and what did I want them to do with it? I was able to reach the next swapper (arriving that day) and give her the info to get the right items. The wrong items were left in the room to be sent (I assume) to Lost and Found.

That's my theory anyway.

At one time I was in mgmt. with the disney co. (airport store), just for laughs when you speak to them tell them you are going to call RESCUE RANGERS.. (PART OF HR DIVISION AND TECH. ) and you are gonna tell on them for being fridge capers...just kidding...but it would be a laugh that would make it around and someone would gain the nick name. .good luck tracking down the items.

Okay. Please don't hate me, but ..... how does this POP frig swap work?

I will be staying at POP this year, and I am planning to rent a frig. However, if there is a cheaper route, I'm in. Can someone direct me to the info about how the frig swap works?
