I'm almost done with our scrapbooks from our May/June DL trip, so it's time to plan again, lol!!!
I'll be around for the better part of the next couple of years, so I thought I'd introduce myself!
My boys and I live smack dab in the middle of the US...half way between the two parks. As a result of that and living on one income, we don't do big vacations as often as most folks on these boards. I went to DL in '79 with a group from my high school. In '99 my older son and I went to WDW...stayed at ASM. It was a dream come true for both of us. I'd read about the opening of WDW in My Weekly Reader when I was in 3rd grade, and was thrilled to finally be going there myself! My son was a major Toy Story fan, and he loved the hotel as much as anything else. This year my boys and I went to DL, staying off-site at HoJos. We had soooo much fun!
I've decided that it would be worth giving up my summer next year to teach summer school if the income means we get a Disney vacation in return. So, I'm planning to go sometime between October of '06 and May of '07. Since I don't have school calendar's yet, the actual dates will have to wait.
So, if you see me lurking here, it's because I'll be starting my WDW '06/'07 planning notebook!
