Or will anyone be at the Spectro night at Magic Kingdom on 09/30 that wants to meet in Michelle's secret location - LOL. Sorry Michelle - if you aren't going to be using it that night I may swipe it from you !! We could meet for Wishes.

Yes, i will be there on 10/2 for mnsshp!! It will be me and dw and ds(5) Not aware of any planned meet on the 2nd,maybe we could throw one together.

Just noticed- this is my 100th post.

I also noticed we are vacationing on the exact same dates. We will be driving from LA , 11-12 hours- YUCK!!

Hey neighbor, we're in Baton Rouge, and it looks like we've got almost the same dates as well. Well, we are staying until the 7th. We are flying this time, but we usually drive, and I must say, I won't miss the drive one bit.

Less than two weeks... can't believe it's almost here.

But I had to take the time to pos that I am now officially doing the single digit dance !! 9 days !!!

And tommorow is 8 days !!! LOL !!

I have so much to do !! I still have Mickeys Heads to cut out. How am I going to get any sleep this week ?!

Morning Poppers!
Should I mention that I'm almost done packing with 12 days still to go?
I pack my own comforter (but I don't bring my own sheets)! It's just a quilt, and it fits perfectly in my carry on bag which is packed in my 24" luggage...that way I have an extra bag if need be too! I always rip the hotel comforter off right after arrival, and housekeeping has no problem making the bed with the one we brought. For me, it helps keep the hotel room homey, especially since we are there for 9 days...

Hi,
Because pop is a "value" resort,there are some rules there.I thought everyone already knew them,but i think i should repost them.
1. all "bedware" is changed promply every 45 days.
2.flushing the toilets is only allowed once every 24 hrs.
3.While in your room,you are only allowed 45 mins of electricity every 24 hours,if you use up that days supply, all power will be turned off to your room and won't return to midnight the next day.
4.Each person is only allowed 1- 8 minute shower every 7 days,the cameras in the bathroom know when you used this last.
5. Don't even think about using the refillable mug,from your last trip,disney police have orders to shoot on site.
6.your room will be vacumed every 60 days,unless the bugs complain first.
7.You are allowed 9 minutes of a/c every day,after that the cooling unit will automaticly turn off till the next day.

It used to be the pizza place, to the right of Main Street.... like walk up Main Street, at the ice cream shop - take a right, past The Plaza restaurant - keep on walking and it's up in that corner.

The ONLY rule/Regulation with the vouchers is that they EXPIRE on the DAY you check out (at midnite) AND that it is only good for what is on the voucher (NO SPECIAL requests) AND that it is only ONE per PERSON (duh!) sooo it's all good!!!

The voucher says they are non-transferable, and have our names on them!! I wonder if that will be a problem?? Oh well, I'll try it anyway. If anyone is able to use more than one of these soon, please let us know how it went!

G&J's mom: OK, I read your post about living in 2006 right after a sent an email to my secretary, who sits less than 10 feet from me. It's just way too true!

I've been traveling and staying in hotels since I was two years old, and have never removed the comforters, sheets, towels, or anything else from the bed. Maybe I'm the one who's weird, but I don't worry about stuff like that, especially when I think about the fact that I touch the guard rails on rides all the time, I sit on the ride seats, I use the pens the CM hands me at check-in, I touch the keys on the ATM machines (way too often when I'm on vacation
), etc. Maybe I just have a high resistance to germs. I only catch things from little kids. Now that school is open, my DGD is a little germ factory...I have a head cold, just like most of the kids in her class (but not her!).

So--

Last night I was busy washing my dinner dishes and Jim asked me when he was going to meet this year's crew of "imaginary friends", and whether or not I thought to make him a Mickey Head name tag, which of course, I did. I think, before long, he'll actually start looking at, if not posting on, these boards! This is the guy who couldn't even figure out how to turn the computer on in June. I guess being home on disability has been good for him!
