Disney has temporarily stopped the Epcot Segway tours while the manufacturer repairs a software glitch.

The U.S. Product Safety Commission recommended that the use of all Segways stop immediately. The voluntary recall by Segway Inc. is in response to reports of the vehicles suddenly shifting into reverse.

There have been six incidents reported nationwide which resulted in a range of injuries. Broken teeth, broken wrist and a facial injury requiring surgery are among the complaints.

There's no indication of when the Epcot tours will resume operation.

Oh yeah... got my package and DME tags just now in the mail!!!!!!!!! I mean I KNEW we were going, but this kind of brought it all together for me and made even more real. WOW WOW WOW!!!!

I went to Target and looked for that mini organizer, they didn't have any. If they did I was going to buy you one Michelle, so sorry! I tried.

Also, I bought Downy Wrinkle Release. Seems no matter how nicely I pack things, they always end up a mess. Plus this might be good to use after our long long plane ride so I can look at least somewhat presentable for HDD and our meet!

Seems there is an addiction on this board to sniffing the plastic sleeve that the Disney paperwork comes in. So if you loooooovvvveee sniffing new shower curtains, you will love the sleeve!!!

OHHHHH! Well I did sniff mine even before I knew it was cool to do that! HA!
Actually I hate that plastic smell! But it didn't bother me this time because it my WDW vaca stuff!
Disney should somehow inject favorite smells from around WDW into the package. Or make them scratch and sniff.
*sigh* I am so darn happy right now.

AUGHHH!!!! how can you NOT like the sleeve smell!!!

ohhh have you ever sailed with DCL??? we have a few times, and every now and then we get a mailer in the mail with a scratch and sniff on it!! one was coconuts!! mmmm...we sniffed it together thinking about our last cruise (honeymoon!! can't wait until the kids are a bit older!!) and another one was one of their fruity drinks of some sort (like an orange dreamsicle) ohhh we sniffed that ALOT!

i think our kids think we are CRAZY

Im nervous about driving too - nervous Im going to get to about mid-Kentucky and think "Why in the hell did I do this again? WHY DIDNT I FLY!"

And then FOR SURE mid-Georgia, Im going to be thinking "WHY IN THE HELL DID I DO THIS?!? HOW FREAKING LONG IS THIS STATE?!?! MY GAWD!!! WHY ON EARTH DIDNT I FLY!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME! WHY DO I TELL MYSELF EVERYTIME - The drive isnt so bad! - IT IS!!!!"

Yeah - THATS what *I* am nervous about!

I wouldn't have been nearly as freaky on the ride down as the ride home. IT SUCKS X 10!!! Hence, the flying.

WE are all getting rid of baby things(watch we'll get pregnant now) and the sale is today and tomorrow and then I have to clean up all weekend and get rid of extra stuff. Not to mention start washing all the clothes we need to pack and clean the house really well before we leave in 9 days

Good news is we have some extra spending money. wooHOO!!!
