I can't believe how quickly it's gone since we hit 30 days! It seems like just a couple of days ago it was 30 days to go! And it's half that already!!!

I have one more thing to do... schedule DH for Richard Petty Driving Experience! But I haven't decided whether to schedule it for Monday afternoon or Thursday afternoon.

Monday, we have AK morning EMH scheduled and we're just planning on leaving whenever and heading to DTD for evening-time. We could squeeze RPDE in on that day. We could even skip DTD. No ADRs that day.

Thursday, we have a breakfast ADR at 9:30 or somethng, and HoopDeeDoo at 7:15 with literally no other set plan for that day, so it would fit in super easy there, but I feel like we're robbing ourselves of our "free day" that way.

I'm leaning toward Monday.

I haven't even asked his opinion! :lmao:

In all honesty, if the toe thing bothers you, I'd skip the flip flops. Having the thing between my toes doesn't (usually) bother me and I have LOTS of flip flops, but most of mine have leather or cloth between the toes. The foamy material is really soft, but after wearing them all day, it did get a little sore between my toes.

Maybe check out a pair of Scutes instead (since this what I wish I had bought!)...

Those would be perfect!!! Thanks!!!!

I saw the crocs.com website where you can order them. Are their retailers that sell them???

Denise

Most Dillards in our area sell crocs, as does Hallmark. However, I've not seen the scutes anywhere here in town...I've been shopping for the prima style, and eventually had to order them because no one in town had them yet (and didn't know when they'd get them!). I needed the prima's for my shoes with my Belle dress...we're some of those same crazy adults who are dressing up for MNSSHP. :teeth:

I'm still waiting to get my computer back so I can pass on the packing list...I've been told I might get it back this afternoon! :cool1:

Getting closer and closer, everyone! I have to sew buttons tonight, and then DH's costume will be almost ready...I just have the shirt left to make...hopefully that will take just about a week, which leaves me with two weeks to pack and finalize planning! Wheeee - I can't wait for vacation!

Yes, there are retailers... mostly mall-type stores. I got mine at Dillards. I didn't see any Scutes there when I went, but it was just two weeks ago and I live in IL, so summery shoes are pretty much on clearance or gone. Since I didn't know there was such a thing as Scutes, I didn't go shopping to other stores to find if they had any elsewhere.

Also, I did get mine at Dillards, in the shoe dept, but they also had Crocs at the Hallmark Store and the trendy t-shirt store. I only shopped til I found them (because I figured the price wasn't going to vary enough to make it worth dragging a 5 yo old around the mall) so I'm sure there were plenty more stores where they had them.

If I were you, I'd get on the phone and start calling the stores at the mall to see if they have Crocs, or an idea of which stores do, and then if they have the Scutes specifically. But then, I am NOT a shopper, so any way to get me in an out of the mall in record time is good IMO! :teeth:

Excellent AND adorable idea!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had something to dress up as. I'm just not willing to spend the $. The computer geeks here at work say I look like Velma, of ScoobyDoo fame, but they're geeks and I pay them no mind. :lmao:

iwynlea - how wide are they? I want some soooo bad, but my feet are wide, so I'm going to wait until they have them in the stores so I can try them on before I buy them.

:woohoo:

Guess what I'm doing??

Smelling my sleeve. :p

My TA also gave us a free Passporter:Treasure Hunt :thumbsup2

DH will love that.

Alright time to pull out the suitcases. :yay:

We weren't going to go to the NFFC convention at the Swan 9/29, but JetBlue came out with the $59 OW fare from Newark NJ, I had a $40 credit from a previous trip, so we booked for 9/29 to 10/3. I messed up on the return flight, I booked 8AM, because that was the only $59 flight available. Now all the flights on 10/3 are $59, but it would cost $ to change, so I booked a hotel near the airport for our last night.
National Fantasy Fan Club or National Fantasy Fun Collectors is a group of Disney enthhusiasts from all over the world. The Florida World Chapter is having the convention at the Swan. We are staying off site for Fri & Sat, moving to Music for Sun and then going to the Holiday Inn Select for Monday night. I love planning last minute trips.
I orginally had Pop for two nights, but the CM modifying my reservation to cancel Monday, cancelled Sunday also, and when he tried to fix it, only Music came up. I love POP but Music will do for one night.

OH NO!

It looks like POP is booked solid for our week, and a convention of Disney Enthusiasts can 't help the crowds. It looks like October is no longer a low season.

We'll be dressing up for MNSSHP on the 5th! If anyone goes and happens to see two people walking around with Paint Cans, that'll be us!!!
