For those going to MNNSHP, are you wearing a costume? I have costumes for my kids and DH and I were also going to get dressed up, but I am not so sure I want to go to all that trouble..... Do alot of adults dress up??? Are you???

Yes A LOT of adults and kids dress up! My girls & I did last time...this time we're not....basically because we discovered that we really love MNSSHP as a time to ride our favorite rides a zillion times in a row! The costumes kinda got in the way...We will be wearing festive halloween t-shirts and probably some temp face tatoos or something like that..glittery hair...etc...but not full costume...but A LOT of people will be in 100% dress up mode! It's really fun either way!

This is killing me... DH made me promise not to superplan like I always do. So I've limited my planning to ADRs and we are going to Magical Beginnings one time. That's it. It was part of the deal. He said No Disney this year (we were just there in December) unless its a RELAXING vacation

hahaha!! we're doing the relaxing on next tears trip during Christmas!!! we aren't doing too many parks and just want to enjoy the Decor everywhere!!

I'm going on an all adult trip and I'll be dressed up. I got a Minnie Mouse dress on disneyshopping.com for like 16 bucks.
It's so short, so I'll wear shorts under it plus my yellow crocs! I'm so excited. Don't you think the yellow crocs look like MIckey's shoes?
I have some tights as well (black so I'll look like Minnie), but I might not wear them if I'm too hot. I'm planning on buying mouse ears when I get there.

Im glad we're driving, cuz I wont check my makeup or perfume when I fly. God forbid, they get lost!!! Ill never fly again!

Every morning, I get up - even on vacation, and do hair and makeup!

We weren't going to go to the NFFC convention at the Swan 9/29, but JetBlue came out with the $59 OW fare from Newark NJ, I had a $40 credit from a previous trip, so we booked for 9/29 to 10/3. I messed up on the return flight, I booked 8AM, because that was the only $59 flight available. Now all the flights on 10/3 are $59, but it would cost $ to change, so I booked a hotel near the airport for our last night.
National Fantasy Fan Club or National Fantasy Fun Collectors is a group of Disney enthhusiasts from all over the world. The Florida World Chapter is having the convention at the Swan. We are staying off site for Fri & Sat, moving to Music for Sun and then going to the Holiday Inn Select for Monday night. I love planning last minute trips.
I orginally had Pop for two nights, but the CM modifying my reservation to cancel Monday, cancelled Sunday also, and when he tried to fix it, only Music came up. I love POP but Music will do for one night.

YES! lots and lots and lots of adults dress up! A LOT! I promise...

Me? I prefer to dress "halloweenie" but no costume. Im gonna get myself a pair of Halloween pajama bottoms from Old Navy, or Target or something. Then I picked this (see below) up this past weekend from Hot Topic.

Ill probably do funky makeup too, cuz I like to do that!

AWESOME CHANGE JAR!!!!!!! we had the same thing going, only at the end of the week we would take it to the bank and cash it and then put it on the WDW gift card!!! just so we didn't get any ideas about using the money for tolls or something like that!!

Hi,

I would love to try the flip flops. I always find that alot of them are sooooo uncomfortable between the toes, so I don't buy them. How do these feel???

In all honesty, if the toe thing bothers you, I'd skip the flip flops. Having the thing between my toes doesn't (usually) bother me and I have LOTS of flip flops, but most of mine have leather or cloth between the toes. The foamy material is really soft, but after wearing them all day, it did get a little sore between my toes.

Maybe check out a pair of Scutes instead (since this what I wish I had bought!)...
