TGIF! no kiddin, this week hasbeen very L O N G

I'm guessing for me, next week will be even longer! Mike's parents get here Tuesday night..I have my last PTO meeting Tuesday night, Casey skates from 4-7 Tuesday night, Wednesday is dress rehersal for the ice show, and the 1st grade play, Friday is open house for Grace, Ice show #1 for both, Sat is soccer, ice shows at 1 & 7, Sunday is ice shows at 12 & 5....then being the moron that I am...both the girls have dentist appointments on Monday! ...but then after the 20th...I can coast till summer vacation...........

Thanks for the mothers say wishes Timmy! We love care bears! I haven't even thought about what we're doing...I know I need to come up with something....

off to the 1st grade field trip...to the nature center...

Update on my dad: Dr. is having him in for more surgery monday after we get back he was supposed to be going back to work, but looks like no moare he wanted him in on wednesday, but dad said there was NO WAY he would be ready for all the walking if he had HEART surgery on Wed.!!! the doc thought he could have

i'm pertty upset about the surgery, why couldn't they have done it all before??

At least dads exscited about the trip and he past the stress test, so it's nothing that can't wait, the Doc, just wants to get it done sooner.

Ok, Lori - I read the menu and reviews on Pinocchio Village Haus and we are SO going there. Either the night we get in or the night of MNSSHP! Sounded too good not to try AND they have a nice variety away from burgers!

got here at St. Charles,IL at around 8:30 this morning, dad made a big breakfast before going to work ( that's a cook thats one excuse we have for our weigth) and crashed ( just woke up).... soon as mom and dad get home woooooooooooohooooooooooooo HOOTERS here we come dad said why do we have to wait till Sunday when we can do it today

heard about PVH but never been there... is that all they have burgers ??? After seeing the cheesy movie "Fastfood Nation" I dont think I will be eating burgers anytime soom

I bring bad news.( not that bad, however)

Hi all,

Sadly tonight at 8pm,i was removed from the FDNY's rescue class. We had a test, a big hard one. Passing is 75%, i had to get at least 69% to keep my adverage above a 85% to stay in. Sadly i scored a 63% I studied all week like a mad man. I know i did my best and i'm proud! I signed the paperwork and was told i had been kicked out and removed from the class. I was stunned because i was not even sad or upset, a little disapointed, but ok with it. I was not the only one, they lost 9 guys tonight to the test including me. I don't lose my job or anything, i am off the weekend and start back at my fire house in brooklyn on monday, i'm actually happy to be back on the streets and on a rig again responding to 911 calls for help or rescue, i can't wait to get a hot run.

Oddly i was told a little seceret, there is a chance that the dept might look to run this program again next year. The dept has only given the program every 8 to 10 year's in the past. If that is the case, i will give it a try again next time they give it. Funny how things work out. I'm driving home and get a call from my mom. She wanted to know if she could take my son to Walt disney world the last week of aug, she said she knew i could not make it ,because of the class. I told her the bad news that i was removed and then it hit me, Instead of her taking my son in aug, Maybe i will meet her up there with the wife and my son.

So it's still too early to tell, but maybe i will go last week of aug to Disney, i'm still looking at planning and pricing, so nothing def yet. I have to figure out how much it will cost and all. So good news comes out of bad.
