So, how does it feel now that you realize school is really over?


Nanu, good for you!!! That is so exciting! Two trips, and you get to see the Christmas decorations! I am so JEALOUS!!!!

Nothing great this weekend here. We were supposed to go to a DIS meet yesterday, but I got in a mood and stayed in bed. Rob took the kids out to breakfast and to the park. Later in the night I made an exchange, and of course, bought more at Gymboree for Sarah. Is it me, or are their boy clothes not too cute???? Yesterday all the sale stuff had insects on it. GROSS!

Today, Rob works 7A-10P, so so far, all me and the kids did is go to Church and lunch... Sarah is napping. Sean is playing with her Ariel carriage making it sing!

Timmy, you brought goosebumps to my husband! We put the Spectro CD in, and it got him all excited for Disney!!! We put in the Tapestry one, but something was wrong... I will have to try it again today. Thank you again!

OK, so are we doing this whole everyone get a CD when they go... and then you know....??? If so, what CD does everyone want/need when I go???

Today we went to the nursrey and I picked out my mothers day gift. A hanging fuschia. I get one every year - they are my favorite. I also picked up a few mother's day gifts for my mom and my mil. We went to dinner and then it was off to Target.

They had all their Tinkerbell Faries line on Clearance for 30% off. We cleared them out I'm going to save it for Ella's birthday in September - if I can wait that long !!

Can't sleep, i'll tell you about all the money i lost, but the fun i had. Dw says i go into the casinio's and change from FDNY guy too Mr. detective. I keep my eye on everything and everybody, she says i don't trust anyone. When you do this you notice things. One of the firstthings you learn in the FDNY is how to read people. It does not happen too often, but it's common for FDNY members on duty to be assaulted. Because of this you learn quick how to spot irregular acting people and know by the way thier acting what they might do next, you also began to watch your surroundings all the time. I noticed a guy young who i pinned for a drug user, at one of the casinio's. Just walking around, i went into mode when i noticed what he was doing. He was walking around from slot machine to slot machine, taking notice to who had the most money in the machines.

Also he seem to take notice to who was an easy target, the elderly. So i pretended to be looking for a smoking section, but really was watching him, i can't play or have fun knowing that there is a hunter in this place and anyone might be a target. He sat down near a little old cute lady, maybe mid 80's or older. I saw it go down, she droped a five dollar bill and when she bend down to pick it up, this creep stuck his hand in her cup of dollar coins and grabbed a handfull and quickly walked away. I would say he easlily would have got away with about 30 coins all 1 dollar each= 30 bucks. This poor old lady had no clue it even happened. I figured i go grab a casinio host or hostess and let thme know, but i was blown off my feet. When apperantly i was not the only one who saw this 3 guys who looked like dirt bags, i figured for his friends showed up. It was not until they pulled out shields that i knew they were undercover somethings, maybe cops or casinio security. He got hancuffed and the nice old lady got her money back. The good guys win.

On a side note, it's been some time since i been to a casinio, the last was june 2002 in vegas. Last night i was blown away by the 3 guys in the mens bathroom, doing coke and not hiding it. Sitiing in front of the mirriors in the bathroom in the open, snorting coke. At first i thought one of these guys was gonna overdose and drop dead and i was gonna have to do CPR on them. when did it become ok to use illegal drugs out in the open and not even try to hide the fact that your doing a major illegal narcotic?? Ok heres my story and i'm sticking to it. I put a crisp $20 in a 25 cent slot machine. I play max bet which is 3 quaters or 75 cents. I pull the level and match 2- 7" s and a double bonus and bells and qongs start going off. I hit, nervous with excitment i count the credits. I hit for $40,000. Thats 40 grand, no wait i was too excitied. I counted wrong it's 4 grand. No i have my decimil in the wrong spot, cause i way too nervous.BTW i was sober for all the counting. I hit for 400 dollars. Still not bad, right? A profit of $380 bucks, well it would have been if i cashed out and wallked away. I figured i had a hot machine and if i kept going with it, i was sure that all of us were going to disney with the millions i was about to win. Sadly i walked away with 100 bucks, still i only put in $20 so i win!!

We were comped, well i should say that dw was comped a room at showboat, We had a very nice 15th floor water view. The checkin guy said you guys have a nice room with a great view. I'm so used to disney, i opened the shades in the room and expected to see the magic kingdom or a pool or something. Instead i was looking at a ocean, still at sunset it was a great view!! Dw's parents came with us,they stayed at a different hotel and we met them last night for dinner. Let me be the first to say, these 2 people are the luckest people in the world when it comes to betting or gambling.A few years ago they went to vegas and dw's father put a $50 in a dollar machine and hit for 5 grand.Last night he sits down at a slot machine and goes to put in a 20, he realized he sat at a 1 cent slot machine and put in a five. He hit for 500 dollars on the first pull. Dw's mother hit for over $300 on a nickle machine 10 minutes later.

Well thats it, i gonna try to get some sleep. Good night all!!

Awesome story PJ! I didn't know you were going to AC... maybe I missed the post, because I remember someone wishing you luck! Hey, if you walk away not in DEBT I think you win... and even if you walk away spending like $100/day I figure you win too!!!! It costs that much to entertain yourself for a day!!!! I have been to AC a couple of times... you know, I only dropped one Quarter... and one $5 in the nickle slots for my mother.... you know, how people say, play this for me???? Yeah, so as you can see, I'm not a gambler, but love the food and atmosphere! Glad you had fun! Did you bring DS? Sounds like it was a good release from the pressure of the class!

We had a nice weekend too....busy but nice. Saturday Grace had soccer, and skating, Casey had skating, and spent the night at a friends. We went to a Cinco De Mayo party Saturday night andI managed to only enjoy 2 margaritas! (gotta watch those calories). Yesterday we attempted to continue cleaning up the yard. BLEEEH there are soooooo many weeds in my flower gardens it's unbelievable!

Today it's spin class, and laundry day - doesn't that sound like fun??

Wow - what an exciting time it sounded like you had !! We LOVE Vegas but are not big gamblers. We mostly go for the shows, entertainment and the pools. I have never been to AC before !
