Oh! The legendary “Hidden Park”! Okay, who’s going the last week of September and wants to organize our own Illuminations Grand Gathering?

Depending on the free dining dates, I would be definately IN for it if we can do it!!!!! Four adults, one 5yo and one 2yo!

Why can't we gather twice? We're a fun bunch! I'm in for whenever free dining happens. It's the only way I can afford to go to WDW twice in the fall, since we're probably going the week after Thanksgiving with my son and his family. Taking a granddaughter to WDW is an expensive proposition!

If we can squeeze in some time during whenever free dining happens, count the two of us in for any kind of gathering, especially one that involves dessert, or, for that matter, any other type of food! If Disney is picking up the tab for my meals, I'll have extra cash for all the other fun stuff! I really didn't believe that Jim would want to go twice in such a short time, but it was his idea. This was the first time that he really didn't want to come home. I think he finally gets the whole WDW thing!

You're right, it doesn't. I'm going on the assumption that if you (okay, I) check in by the last "rumor-date" then, like last year, you (okay, I) can get free dining for the entire week of my stay. So I'm arriving September 22 = which is the ONLY reason we're even discussing two 'meets', that we may not all be there at the same time

I know, I know, I hate it too.... BUT, I really don't think that is a good time to take Sarah out of her first weeks of Kindergarden. Poor girl, I want her to have friends made before I go yanking her out. BELIEVE ME, if I didn't have her entering K, then you and me would be in Mexico (EPCOT) sucking down the margaritas!!!!

By the way... my friend and I decided last night that in 5 years we are all going on a Disney Cruise... anyone in???? Edited to Add: we're bringing our kids though... her girl will be 11 mine will be 10 and 6 and her boys were told they are staying home as they will be 18 and 17!!!!!

Im gettin' an itchin for a new camera.... this one is $315... I want it. Jim said to get it - he said he was embarrased of our camera (Kodak EasyShare C330) at WDW - LOL!!!...he said he'd look around and everyone else had nice camera's. This one (Canon S3 IS) is freaking AMAZING...the pictures it takes are just simply amazing!

These are some of the pic's people posted on Amazon taken with this camera... I wont be taking many BUG pictures, but it's just *W*O*W*!!!

Yes! EVERYTIME I ask someone what camera they had to take an awesome pic that I see here on the DIS, it is always the Cannon powershot (sometimes the s2 or whatever was the last model though) I just trash cameras though so I have always taken cheap ones. I really don't take care of anything nice! I guess I have been way too spoiled. I may be willing to buy the powershot that is point and shoot. Those are coming down in price. The only thing I heard about cannon is that they have some sort of class action lawsuit because the lens on a lot of cameras gets stuck and they don't stand behind the product... so that's why I have been scared off so far. Murphy's law you know....

Got to go put food in the mouths of the other three that live here... bye for now.

This one has dropped in price quite a bit, too.... I dont know why Im itching so BAD for one, all of a sudden.

I would hope this newer (S3) model wouldnt "stick" but ???
