Since it is spring, I thought maybe the theme for our swap could have to do with the outdoors? Let me know and I will put together a little survey. Once I get all of them back, I will draw names and send out the addresses.

My front yard is rocks. My back yard is mostly dirt with patches of grass. Well kind of grass. But I do have 2 flower beds which will grow just about anything because I took so much time (and money) getting them to be good, and I use a lot of pots.

Your poor heart this week.... first Colleen being a POP floosie, then your reunion, then the POPpy Crocs.... me thinks you may need a stiff drink or a massage by the time this week is over!

I am already having Easter anxiety! i hate that it's going to be so cold, the kids have spring outfits and Autumn will freeze in her little dress grrr...

Then too many people want to see us and yet no one has set a time or anything

I told DH we should do our own thing in the AM and then do church and then off to do something fun...but it was a no go idea, he wants to spend time with our families which i think we see way too much as it is!

I get what you mean!!! Our old Pastor has invited us to Easter Vigil Mass, and dinner afterwards... BUT, the weather forecast for that night is 25 degrees!!!!! I don't know if I will have Sarah wear her Easter dress or not.

Rob works on Sundays, so I will most likely go to my parents, or just stay home. My mom is WICKED sick, but won't go to the Dr's!!!!! She said she will just let God take her!!! I think she has been in bed for too long!

BUT, I do know what you mean about EXPECTING to be seen by all family members on holidays! I can't take it! Then, when we spend time with just the 4 of us we get guilt trips from everyone else. We can't win!

Maybe the others can do this, but could you imagine if i ran around my house screaming cathrynrose is my mommy, dw would think i went mad or was having an affair

I think it is just a part of getting older, but I am so OVER having to run around and see everybody. I want to spend time with MY family. But I know if we moved away, it would be worse b/c they would all come and stay for a week. That would be terrible.

Alright i'm not in a good mood this morning. actually i'm really upset. MY dad is going in for surgery on his heart... we don't have a date yet, but his Dr. said ASAP and he is dealing with his office right now So please keep him in your prayers if you do that sort of thing thanks

If i didn't have kids, i wouldn't be running around for them, but i think they deserve to see their grand children as much as possible. As a kid i had a BLAST being at my grandparents house EVERY WEEKEND! i would beg to go all the time And i see how much they love being with my dad and such. I just don't like that's it expected if they didn't act like that, i bet we would see them more often wierd i know

I get ya! My kids have a blast at all three grandparent households... me on the other hand????? YES = being expected to do something makes me not want to do it.

You know, Im really F'n pissed at my g/f. Im really MAD!!!

She still speaks with people involved in High School Alumni matters... I do not. For our 10 year reunion, she is the one who told me about it... so I could then attend.

Well, Toni has gained a lot of weight since then, and didnt want to go to the 15 year one...and failed to mention it. Ummm???? ***???

It was last year!!! Im really upset with her.

I get why you are mad. I think those things suck anyway though. I bet not many people were there since it was a 15th. We had a fifth, tenth where there were lots of people, but the 15th was just like a meet at a bar. The 20th will be the bigger one. DH had his first reunion and it was the 20th. Nobody recognized him. I will have to dig out a pic and show you! He went to a VOKE and took Autobody.... well, there was one girl in the program, so they were in school with eachother every day for 4 years and he went up and gave her a hug and she had NO idea who he was. He was SUCH A DORK in HS!!!! Sorry, I didn't mean to go off on a tangent, but I mean to say, the 20th will be a bigger deal anyway. Are you on Classmates.com??? That's the only place either of our schools found any alum, so give that a try.

I plant a few pansies in planters in the front by the sidewalk, and do a few veggies for Sarah to watch grow. Not much more than that. I used to to lots of hanging baskets, and window boxes and planters around the patio, but didn't do those last year. As far as the yard goes, I try to do perineals, so I don't have to worry about them.

I don't know if any of you saw my post on CB, but I'm thinking of switching from La Weightloss to Weightwatchers. Have any of you ever done it? I like LA and I've had great sucess (lost 35 lb last time and 10 so far this time), but I need some variety. I really want some tostitos with salsa and they're just not on plan. I have 3 more paid weeks left with LA, so I think I'll use them up and then maybe switch to Weight Watchers.

I didn't see your CB post. I don't know anything about LA Weightloss, except that my friend went, and here you have to sign up for as many weeks as it would take to loose your weight, PLUS a year. So, for me, I would have to sign up for 37 weeks (at two pounds a week for a total of 74) PLUS 52 weeks. They do not have a month to month program. I don't know anything about what you eat or what you take for supplements etc. (that is how it is in MA, but their commercials have in little print that there is a month to month program in NH)

I did weightwatchers for like a month last year. I was wicked into it, and it wasn't bad as far as feeling like I could have a little of everything I wanted. My mom joined with me though.... so when she stopped, I stopped. We always think that we can follow the program we start on our own (we did the HMR one too together) without paying for or going to the meetings, but that always falls right apart. I am thinking of starting WW again on Saturday with my girlfriend. (but, she and I quit pretty quick together too, so who knows!)

Good luck and let me know what you decide... maybe we can do it together this time.... and maybe it will stick!
