I was gonna do this for DH for his birthday, because he was really upset that we've been to Disney so much and never did it. Yesterday he mentioned how he can't though because he can't drive stick.

Is there anyone that can teach him? I learned in less than a week and now i hate that i drive the van! haha our Honda is 5-speed and it looove it! it's addicting, so much so that when i have to drive an automatic it's 'boring' haha :) but it's not hard to learn at all!! My father taught me and DH was soo impressed when we met and I was driving a 5-speed :) ;)

UGH!!! I think she should start school next year. :rolleyes1 I homeschooled for Kindergarten for both kids!!! Seriously!!

[/url]

Cat, I totally don't picture you as a homeschoolin' mom. I'm coveting that camera now.

My Ticker!!! 168 days!! :cool1:

Too late - Amazon itself it out of the $300 price and now it's shipping from some 'electronics boutique' ... I snoozed, I loosed. :sad2:

Im hoping the 'new camera' itch will just GO AWAY! :upsidedow

Oh, so that's why I couldn't find it. They have one for 244, not as cool...did you see it?

I was reading a thread about the Million Dreams promo and many people think it is a bad idea. ANy thoughts about that? I think it is a neat promotion, but I wish since Disney is known for its magic, they should do things like that all the time. My deal is the ones who go expecting to get every little thing. And then complain because they didn't. I guess the dream for me is to be able to go and spend a week with my son doing things that are so removed from our day to day lives! Call me old fashioned, but why do people always expect to get something in return? Can't we just be happy with what we have? Alot of people can't even afford to go to Disney. Although I do love to win things, I guess it was fulfilling enough to have those priceless magical moments and memories with Ryan. No dream fastpass could take the place of that!

You are right...if you got expecting nothing, then its fine...if you have the entitlement attitude you'll be disappointed.

PJ--are you in the 1st or 2nd shift program? Sorry about your DS. Scheduling special times is a good idea.

I'm just happy to be in WDW! I don't expect anything. I'll have to find that thread and read it.

Hello everyone!
What a morning... I so wish I was Timmy this morning!!!! Shopping would have been better-way better! Not that it was a terrible morning, but eventful.

So, I drop Sarah off at school, then going off to the supermarket because I am cooking for 13 people tonight and needed a few more things. So, I am on my way, and I have to pull over to the right to let an ambulance pass... Ok, fine, then I pull away, and well, then my tire starts going tink-tink-tink... so I pull into a dead end, and low and behold I have a bolt and washer in my tire. So, I turn back to home, get home, take Sean out of the carseat, turn back to the car to take the carseat out so that I can transfer it to my mother's spare car that she loaned us, and I hear "thump" I turn around and Sean has fallen off of our retaining wall onto the driveway. So, he cries, and is more upset that he has gravel on his little hands, but I see the bump growing on his little forehead. I bring him in and put ice on it. It's not so bad now, but that kid is always bumping his head... and always within a few feet of me! I wish I could see these things coming. UGH!

So, after I get Sarah from school and we go to the supermarket, I get two visitors. I always hate that! Surprise visits... hello? You know you are dropping by, could you please call?????? My house is always a mess, People know this, I swear they just want to see how bad it is today, and how crazy I am with the kids!!!!

Ok, enough venting. I have to go peel a million potatoes and carrotts. Talk to you all tonight! Take care, and don't let your sons bump their heads! :scared1:

Ahhh man - Im sorry. My son's have bumped their heads a zillion times. :sad1:

Dont sweat it - do what you can and relax about it.

One time Danny was playing with Joey and running through the house and I saw him run past the doorway, and I heard a HUGE THUD. And I waited.... and waited ... and then the most blood curdling cry began. I was thinking maybe if I didnt say anything he'd get up and be fine. He looked like a cro-magnum man.... a ginourmous forhead. Poor thing.

And your son's only one - wait. Youll be visiting the ER, Doctor and Walgreens for first aid things more then you can ever imagine!

 I am sorry you are having a bummer of a day.
Send the visitors to my house, nobody ever visits me. I think its because they know how much I like my "space." I'm really not that scary of a person am I?
I hope your evening gets better! Take care!

Ummmmm... CAT? I sent you my addy liek HOURS ago. Where is yours. I wanna go shopping! :rotfl:
