You didnt SAY Marge Simpson's sister, but I believe it was implied!

CHRIS - Re: Your MIL - everything will turn out okay. I agree with you though.... I'd lose 'em both!

I was watching DR 90210 one time, and there was a girl whose Mom had died REALLY young from Breast Cancer (as well as her Grandma, Aunts, etc, etc....) - like the daughter was 9-ish, Mom was late 20's? Soo, this girl has decided to have both breasts removed and get implants. Well, she got them, and was having them fixed cuz the 1st Dr kinda messed them up.

But I was thinking, this girl is like 19 / 20 getting this done - how incredibly brave! And I'd do it - I'd do it in a heart beat if I had that kind of family history.

Like, if you sang, it would sound like Pheobe off of Friends when she had the cold, and wanted to keep the cold so she could sound sexy... ??????? I bet noone remembers that...

I would be willing to lose them both too. At my annual, the dr. put me on the lowest dose of premarin (?) b/c I am starting to have hot flashes. I don't have all my inside parts anymore and am working off of one ovary. Poor thing, has to pick up the slack. But I am like, "I don't want to be on hormones for like 60 years!!". Sucks. I am just worried about long term side effects like that.

And, I am right here.

Ummmmm - tomorrow at work, we're having a "Bears Tailgating Party" and Im on the "committee" cuz I'm "fun" (not sexy-voiced, of course...just fun )

But the thing is.... I am fun, but not with lame things like "Work Tailgating Parties" where theyre giving away Bears pads of paper for whomever is dressed with the "most team spirit" Lame. I know.... Im a non-conformist snob. I never went to the Pep Rally's in High School - I went to Taco Bell with the rest of the Hoodlums.

Did I ever tell you I was "Punk" in High School - head shaved and everything? It's true....

So - I might be fun, but I'm not lame.... and now I gotta buy streamers and decorations tonight cuz Im on the 'committee'

Good Morning!

THEN Mike's mom called me tonight. She's been dx with stage 1 breast cancer They're doing a lumpectomy on Tuesday, they'll biopsy another node right then & if there's more, they lop the whole thing off. She's in pretty good spirits, I told her she's 66 years old...what does she use 'em for anyway? just lop it off She laughed. She's a strong person...so I know she'll be ok....what really bugged me though...is it made me think of my own mom...who's - get this - never had a mammo, never had a pap, in her WHOLE life! Doesn't believe in them. Thinks when it's her turn it's her turn...on one hand it makes me sad..on the other it makes my raging mad at her!

I understand, My grandma has breast cancer. Hugs for your MIL.

Ive never been on a cruise. Tell you what - you cancel the cruise, and come in September and Ill buy you a drink, at the POP pool bar....

If i could - I'd totally cruise, rather than do a few days in September - youre a lucky duck!

I would LOVE to do a disney cruise!!! We cruised for our honeymoom - just Carnival - & dh hated it! So if I'm cruising it's with the kids. A friend of mine is going on an Alaskan cruise in May...wow I'd love to do that!
