I am off from jan.1st to Jan. 5th but the trip to The Promised Land had been canceled months ago due to financial adjustment ( a car note )

Well I am at work now till midnite.... will be contemplating what new years resolution I can make and brake this coming year!

Hi all,
Happy x-mas all, hope everyone got what they wanted!!! I been to 3 different house and still have 2 more to visit to do exchanges.Have to go to my dad's at 6pm, ds has gotten tons of stuff, i'm sure he's becomming spolied from all the gifts all of dw and my familys has gotten him,but he is the only grand child of the family and the only child under 19.aAnyway i am off all day today but have to go in tomorrow at 6pm for a shift.Talked to one of the guys at the fire house,that little baby we delivered is doing great and was set to leave the hospital with mom today. The guy at the fire house said last night( x-mas eve) was off the hook!! He told me that they had like 7 or 8 major runs/jobs.Well thats it,hope all are with family and well today!!!Remember there is nothing wrong with baking a dozen or 6 dozen cookies and bringing them to your local fire house,hopefully someone who lives in brooklyn and close to my fire house will read that( insert smile, since i can't get them to work on this new upgrade)!!! Have a great day all!!!!!!

Oh yea, i thought this was very funny, but not only did santa make a visit last night, but so did the tooth fairy.Ds lost his upper front tooth on x-mas eve in the afternoon,we made him sing that "all i want for x-mas is my 2 front teeth" song.So not only santa but the tooth fairy all in one night!!!

I missed the DIS so much! I had time to chat, and I was lost.

Here's the news with the "manifested" package. After calling DHL and them telling me they couldn't help me because my tracking number wasn't right, I called the company and they said the manifested is because DHL picks up the package and delivers it to the post office and they deliver it. (????) Now, before I had called the company, I called the post office and asked if they had any packages that maybe didn't have a name on it or something. This is Friday afternoon at 4pm. Nope, nothing. So Saturday morning at 7:14 the phone rings. We look at the caller ID and it says "United States P." Anyway, it was the post office calling to say that my package came. She said she wanted to call so that I didn't go out shopping for a new gift because mine didn't come. I thought that was so nice!

FINALLY!.... the Christmas mess is over.

I may be in the minority, but it stresses me out too much! I had a constant eye-twitch for the past 2 weeks!

I dunno how many days I have left.... lets check out my ticker, shall we?

CAT- I agree...too stressful. Next year we aren't going anywhere! We opened presents at our house, then opened at DH's parents, then drove 2 hours to Philly to open at my parents. I just wanted to go to bed.

but it stresses me :

this is the 1st non stressful xmas for me... did not offer to cook for my tribe... did not wrap gifts like i always do but instead did the gift bags and gift certificate... xmas tree only have lites and a few of my fave ornament (4 ornaments) lots of cinnamon sticks at home rather than baking all the cinnamon apple pie... gave out gifts as early as dec. 6 closed my doors to the world the 22nd and stayed home, feet up watching/crying over "a wonderful life" so it was all good for me.. sorry I sound selfish but this is the 1st ME XMAS for me
