Your pictures are awesome! You went at a great time it seems! We left the day before the Million Dreams promotional period started, and while we were there there were no shows in front of the castle. Looks like yours was GREAT!

We were in 6369 from 9/20-9/29 70's section Building 6 third floor, right under the word BOOGIE, and BEHIND the two dancing people where they were bumping. Terrible room placement in terms of view (none), and having people see our decorated window (couldn't). Really disliked it, but could not change as POP was full and did not have any other rooms even close to eachother when I tried to move before we even opened the door, which was covered in love bugs. (we did not know they would be everywhere, as we had just arrived in FLA and never had run into them before)

We went on two diffrent searches for other Popers rooms. I didn't get pictures of all of them but some of them I was able to leave a lime green Mickeyhead with our room number just to let you know we saw your room. It was fun to wander around and see who was there. Here are a few that were near us that we found on the first day.

I am sure I will find a few others as well. And CathrynRose I did see your room !!
PatsFan the day we went looking for your room was the day we saw you had checked out (your daughters birthday I think !) She was SO cute !!!

This was the busiest we have seen Pop and we have stayed there a couple times before. This was our very first morning there

We are 2 doors down from this room. We checked in our room at around 4ish on the 29th unload our bags and ran out to leave here a note and a mickey head stating we are next door... that nite after we came back from MNSSHP the decoration were down. My dsis said I must have scaredf them off

Lori, did you have to bring your wine with you, Michelle had mentioend that they had given it back to you on Tuesday nite. I wish I had bought the Moscato in Italy and Icewine in Canada. Where ever I go here they are either sold out or they dont carry it

And here are a few from our first day around Pop and MGM. My mom made Ella's dress. We had an ADR with JoJo and Goliath at Hollywood and Vine which turned out to be a major bust since she wasn't feeling well (remember that 102 degree fever she got 3 hours before I had to be on a plane ?!) She screamed if she even thought the characters were going to look in her general direction.

I was told over at Epcot that if I bought it from the Festival Wine Cellar that they would ship it home for me. So I bought it from the Festival Center - 5 diffrent bottles (Shiraz from West Africa - I think, Reisling from Australia, and Rasberry from Poland). When I bought them from the Festival Center they told me they couldn't ship them either. They told that Pop Century would ship them. Sooooo I went back to Pop Century and they told me No they wouldn't do it either. I had to ship it myself. Packing that wine was a pin in my behind. I don't think the inside of a Pop room has ever seen so much bubble wrapping going on !! I also used the kiddos beach towels for padding.

I sent two diffrent boxes home. 1 box of wine and 1 huge box of dirtly clothes and other odds and ends we wouldn't need for the last few days of our trip after we transferred hotels.

I had called my husband with the names of the ones I liked and he did a little research while I was there and found I couldn't get them around here. I knew I really wanted them so the hassle to ship them myself was worth it. I just wish they would have gotten their answers straight. I am sure it was because it was the first weekend.

PatsFan - Yes! the Grosvernor should just be called GROSS. I wasnt picky at all that first night (it was 5am for Crien out Loud, I had driven straight thru.... Ill explain more later - 5 am makes a person MUCH less picky) And scattering bugs on the night stand was NOT my idea of a nice room.

Hi All!!

Just got back last night from the Royal Pacific Hotel. As for my adventures at POP, I saw several windows. They were great! Signed Lori's board and another one (sorry it escapes my brain who it was). We arrived at POP later than we had anticipated to a packed house. Not sure what we did to deserve it, but we were put in the very last room on the 4th floor in the 90's building. It was definitely quiet. Went down to the Hippy Dippy Pool a couple of occasions on meet nights, but I must be dense, because I waundered around and unfortunately did not see anyone that I thought were DIS people. I take that back, I did see one person who I believe to be Beth and her husband (he had a brace or boot on his foot). DH came back to watch the kids so I could say "hey" to you and you were gone. Otherwise I believe that was my only brush with Disness!

I am very glad you all had great trips. We are planning another for next October and might squeeze another one in in either February or May. We will see though.

Yes Timmy, , the 8 track building!!! We were in 6413.

And hey did you know there are elevators in the individual buildings?

We might be able to do the end of January... hmmm... although I kind of want to go to DL! We'll see what happens. It is pretty far (and expenseive) for us to fly for only a few days.
