Ive had these reservations for a while , but somehow missed this thread. I will be at Pop 9/28-10/03,w/ free dining as well, w/ DH , DD4, DS1 , FIL, MIL, and SIL. I requested the 50s building when i originally booked back in January (connecting rooms) , and especially now am hoping I get it .Maybe the CM will feel sorry for the preggo, and put me in building A, so I wont have to waddle to far to Classic hall or the parking lot

Hi all,
Well whats new,what did i miss? Had a strange thing happen at the fire house last night,real strange.One of the guys,kevin is sitting watching t.v. with us,and it looks like his face is swelling right in front of us.So i asked hey kevin you feeling ok,he says he has a headache.Anyway someone went and got the chief and he drove him over to the e.r. it looked like he had a tomato under his skin by his lower right jaw line.It was weird it just started to swell real quick and out of no where.Everything turned out to be ok,but they said he had a cycst that got infectied and they had to cut and drain it,yummy!Anyway I owed him a day and he asked if i could cover him tonight,i could not say no.So i have to run to the fire house at 6pm to 2 am today and then its offical i'm off till oct 13!!!!!!!!Anyway kevin will be ok,they sent him home with antibiotics and pain killers and told him to get rest.So anyway whats new???

Sorry if this is long. Ok, here goes. FAINT OF HEART BE WARNED We were finishing eating at Chef Mickey's and Joe, my DS was getting restless, so when I finished, I took him out into the hotel lobby area outside the restaurant. He was about 2.5 yo at the time. Joe was really wound up and got his hand loose from mine, started running, and just as I started to grab him, felt his shirt in run across my fingers, he smashed his face into the metal arm of one of those benches that sit in the lobby. He started crying hysterically. Without knowing what the damage was or if there was any, I picked him up and held him tight. Next thing I know, the guy selling DVC is running towards me and I feel something warm running down my arm. There was massive amounts of blood running down my arm and on my clothes, etc. I, surprisingly remained calm. It could not have been more than a couple of minutes after it happened when a vacationing paramedic on his way to dinner at Chef Mickey's came over and offered assistance. An EMT also stopped. Then a several minutes after that, the manager of the hotel came by, shortly followed by 2 uniformed paramedics. The response was quick and overwhelming. Finally, DH and DD waundered out trying to locate me and realized that we were in the middle of this swarm of people. They got me ice and towels and we got the bleeding to slow down to a trickle, and Joe calmed down after a bit. They sent us to an after hours pedicatric emergency clinic actually. There they put a little vest on him to hold him down and put two stitches in his lip. That is when I lost it. DH stayed in the room with him while DD went with me to quietly lose it in the women's bathroom. Got some antibiotics for the lip and ear infection. The next day, he was back to running around like a crazy person, seemingly unphased. Kids are resilient eh?

That is my story and I am sticking to it.

That happened to me, too! Except we were at daycare, she fell on a baby toy, and I drove her to the hospital. Maybe they can compare scars. Oh yeah, no ear infection either.

Okay, I'm so stressed...First of all, I got a rejection letter in the mail today from that job interview on Tuesday. So I wasn't gonna take it anyway, but not even offered it? I feel so *rejected.*

Second, DH had to work today, so I'm just now getting started on my long list of stuff to do. I was trying to be supportive, but snapped at him on his way home. Third, (divert your eyes MrFDNY) AF is coming soon, so she'll be there the whole time at Disney.

Fourth, DISNEY DINING MADE ME CRY! So I call to change Spoodles ADR on the 28th to San Angel Inn at 6:15. There were so many openings. The people complaining are crazy. Anyway, I asked a question about my ressies being for 3 and if my mom takes DD it'll just be 2 of us, will that be a big deal? And she said she'd refer me to Dining Help or something, whose her superior. Then, she's like I see you have a double booking now for both Ohana on the 3rd and the Spoodles/San Angel thing. I had already told her I was going to cancel either Spoodles or San Angel once I talked to DH, but couldn't because he was at work. I'm double booked for Ohana, because one of the ressies includes my mother. She is still refusing to eat with us because she doesn't want to be intrusive on our vacation. So the ADR person is trying to get me to cancel one. I said I'd talk to my mom again. I'm thinking (you better not make me cancel one now, I had to call every day for two weeks for each of them!). So she refers me to the Dining Help or whatever and the lady starts out "So, we are talking today because you have this double booking for Ohana." And I say "No, we are talking today because I have a question about my daughter (you meanie)." Taking aback, she says "Oh." So I continue with the DD thing. She says it won't be a problem and starts to lecture me again about the double booking. I said, "yes, I understand, but I can't talk to my mom while I"m on the phone with you (meanie)." Anyway, she's lecturing me about how wrong it is, and I'm thinking I"M NOT PAYING 10 cents a minute for you to yell at me! Okay, I get off the phone and I"m so angry I start crying and call DH (get him this time) and tell him "Disney made me cry I don't want to go." I think I'll still go to Disney, but I"M WRITING A LETTER.

Wow! I just had to read from page 195 to get caught up!!! I was off the last couple of days due to an almost 48 hour migraine I couldn't get rid of! Finally went away this morning.

Need to get out and find some sunscreen towelettes to use our first day. Looked at Walmart, didn't find any. I'll try Walgreens today.

Need to call and reserve my ECV from Scootarama. I can't decided if I'll have it delivered the first or second day, though. The first day is AK, so it will be a lot of walking if I don't have the scooter. But I don't want to have to wait around the resort for it if it hasn't been delivered yet either. Decisions, decisions.

Need to try on clothes. I've been gaining weight lately, and have to see what fits. It wouldn't be good to get down there and not be able to get into my pants!

Then need to pack!!

One week from right now, we will be getting ready to head over to Mama Melrose for our FDP ADR at 5:30!

Oh, dear, I don't want to hear that! We're doing "Delta Connection" out of Killeen TX (about an hour from the house) to Atlanta, and then "real" Delta from Atlanta to Jacksonville!

ok I have to catch up from yesterday morning...but let me just say my day totally s**ked as well! Gracie had an 9 am soccer game, Casey had to be at the ice house by 8:40.....dh was up early working in the basement...& for got to wake me up!!!!!! So it's 8:00 when my eyes finally open! holy cow how am I supposed to shower get dressed, get dd1 to ice dd2 dressed & to soccer???? can you help me dh? "uh no sorry, gotta finish the trim" He's lucky he's not going with us, I might leave him home...ok so I get to soccer 10 minutes late, but still in time for the game. Oh did I mention? it's POURING by this time and yes I did wash my hair....ok soccer's over...gotta run quick to the ice rink to pick up dd1 who's been patiently waiting for 20 minutes...get to the car...I HAVE A FLAT TIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must have drover over something in the gravel parking lot...ok no biggie, I went to Lane Tech HS I took auto shop, I can change a tire...so I am trying to get the car jacked up...the jack keeps sinking in the gravel/mud...it's so flipping wet out here I can't get the car up off the ground. Reluctantly call dh, can you please stop you "me man work party" and help me. He comes over brings a few pieces of plywood for the jack to sit on...ok get it off, change the tire...he says "I'll take the girls home, & get Casey you go to Firestone & get that tire fixed/replaced ...Again I'm Really if I wanted to do things like take care of the care, mow the lawn, pain the trim or clean the gutters, I wouldn't be married. So I sit at firestone for THREEE hours! everyone in the entire town obvioslly picked today to get their tires checked, rotated, replaced whatever...

So I'm finally home...do you think the girls had eaten lunch? That's right, nope, dh is in the basement and I'm off for 2 happy meals and a Venti Starucks!!!

It's now 6pm & I'm sitting down for the first time today...

which pleasantly reminds me one week from today at 6:05 I'll be sitting down at the Crystal Palace to dine with my Pooh friends..

I needed to borrow some shorts from my friend...They started me on some steroids for my Lupus, I only need them a few times a year, fall is usually a flare up time for me...so anyway, they make me gain weight like a sponge!

Hi, everybody!

I finally have a minute to sit down with my computer. Jim is sleeping through Star Trek (but heaven help me if I try to change the channel), granddaughter has gone home, and it's finally peaceful and quiet!

I went out last night and bought a pair of Crocs. I hadn't planned on it, I really wasn't going to buy them, but after I tried them on again I decided that I'd give them a try. After all, they can't make my feet feel any worse than my old sandals do. So I wore them all day today, to granddaughter's soccer game, shopping, housework, etc. and my feet are great! I think I made the right choice! Of course, I also bought a new purse, and Old Navy was having a sale on tee shirts ($2.00!!!!), so I had to buy a couple of those, and Jim needed new sneakers (well, he still only needs one, but of course he had to buy both of them ) and socks. I really AM finished shopping now, because I'm running out of money!

Next Saturday at this time, I will be doing something at WDW. I have no plans (other than the meet at 9:30) for that day, so I have no idea what I'll be doing, but it will be at WDW, so I don't care!

Tomorrow I'm going to spend the afternoon with my inlaws, and then come home and get ready for the meeting I have on Monday morning. My boss told me late on Friday afternoon that he won't be in the office Tuesday or Wednesday, so I should have some peace and quiet to finish laminating my Mickey heads.

Right now, I'm going to take a quick nap, and then do some laundry and spend the rest of the evening relaxing.

I wish everyone who's heading down to Pop in the next day or so a safe trip, get the place ready for us, we'll be on our way on Friday!
