Morning everyone!

CR Sorry too funny! At least you're prepared for the REAL tomorrow!!!

Man, did I feel like a political loser yesterday...went to vote...no major things as far as referendums etc were up - just state/county offices...Out of the maybe 20 names there I think I had actually hear maybe 10 and knew something about maybe 6 of the candidates. I'm ususally pretty good at that. Made me realize that next time I need to be a more informed voter.

Last week while we were at Sams Club they were taste testing some chicken/fettucine thing, well the girls loved it, got seconds & begged me to buy it. Ok fine, so last night I throw the frozen dish in the oven, thinking wow, not very healthy, but it's CCD night and dinner is done...BOTH of my children didn't like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said "WAIT a second, you LOVED it at Sams club!!!!!" Casey says - it tastes better in small cups! LOL ok whatever, go make a pb&J cause mom's kitchen is closed!!!

I'm going to Archivers today after the gym....I have to get started on scrappin the Ice Show the girls were both in this past May. I'm big on chronological scrappin, and I really want to get to our October trip!!!!

How's that Christmas shopping coming???My girls haven't asked for much. I think Casey will probably get some books,dvd's, clothes from Aeropostle, Disney Pins, and I dont know what else. Grace hasn't really asked for anything ????? weird for a 7 yr old. I'm still trying to come up with my teacher, neighbors, and friends gifts as well. I think I may just make cookies & fudge this year. Simple, yummy and not too expensive either. I wonder if TDS will have any black Friday sales???

Our TDS told me they were having black friday sales. I am about done shopping. Biggies were american girl Jess, the our generation horse for the doll, mulan costume, belle costume, snow white costume. DD really likes to dress up. She has most of the others already. We do nieces/nephews on a small scale and then our parents. No siblings (of mine or DH) anymore. It can get sooo out of control. I really wish the nieces/nephews would just draw names, but noone listens to me. They think I am a scrooge for suggesting it.

Today I am going to clean and when it warms up a little this morning I am going to mow (hopefully the last time).

It tastes better in small cups? Oh boy, the things that come out of kids' mouths! When Ry was about 4 or so he went through this horrible phase. He was a baaaad boy. I would always ask him why he did such and such and he would say "Because my brain told me to!" And I would say, Ry... you have to reprogram your brain. "It's too powerful Mom, I can't control it!" I would tell him that was no excuse (as I am trying not to laugh) and then he would say that next time he hoped his heart would tell his brain to knock it off!
So how long have you been scrapping? I have a bunch of stuff sitting on the floor in my room that I have never even looked through. I got around to sroting out my pics but I have NO clue how to even start. Any suggestions?
Christmas shopping is ok. At first Ryan had no clue what he wanted, then the other day we were talking to my brother and they asked him what he wanted. And Ryan started going through his list then tells my brother "Oh forget it, I will just write you out a list and send it to you!" So needless to say his once non-existant list is now a full page. INCLUDING a kids motorcycle. What, does he think I am nuts? I have to get him a few more things, but I am almost done. Have not bought one thing for hubby. A few things for our friends. I have a LONG way to go. I am going to do family gifts this year though. It is too expensive to buy each person a gift.
K... that was long I will stop for now.

Our Sunday paper came with a Target toy catalog. Last night Austin was sitting down with Ella going through it. They were going to point out everything they wanted. Well, Austin was pointing at almost everything and what he wasn't pointing at he was telling Ella " Oh, that's for GIRLS, but would be good for you too !" LOL

I stopped him and told him it would be nice if he started planning what he was going to get the person he picked off the giving tree. Every year we always pick someone at the BX's giving tree to buy a gift for. One for every member of the family. It is always so much fun for our family.

I'm still sick. Going to the dr's today though. I've got two boys in the office right now for fighting. Not sure what I'm going to do with them (they're both 9). So I thought I'd check DIS and make them sweat.

Anything new with the secret project? I've been too tired to check.

Good diea about the giving tree. I should probably take Ryan down there to pick one too. We always donate a bunch of stuff, but I think the new gifts would be really fun too. I'll see how it goes when they put the Angel trees up!

Anyone get the TRU big toy book? i wasn't thrilled with it this year maybe b/c they didn't have much in the dept. of toddlers and what they did have we own already

Autumn LOVED the 5.99 giant plush DORA dolls that you can get when you spend 50$, so we're thinking we'll just spend the $$ on clothes! haha! "laughing: Maybe some games for the V-Tech too!

We didn't get the TRU book but I wasn't really looking for it since I am almost done. In Target's book that came in the paper (I also saw them at Target last night on a end cap) there is a $5 off any Cranium product. Cranium has To-Go games that are like $7.99 ( they are in the section with card games and Uno) so I was able to use that coupon for a $2.99 stocking stuffer.

Also Target has the Monopoly Here and Now price slashed (not sure if it is just this week) to $15 and then there is a $5 coupon also in the Toy book making the monoply just a few cents over $10. Great as a gift for someone's family.

Just call me the deal queen !! LOL

With regard to Target... I went today, and there was a new "dollar" or 2.50 spot, there was lots of mickey stuff.... but I am not sure that we all should run out and buy it all up... after all, we do have "secret santa's"

How's it going Tia?!

It's going. Just waiting for Thanksgiving. My hubby will be home for 4 days! WOO HOO!! Then 2 weeks in December before he heads off to the Middle East. Can't believe it has already been 6 months and we have not even started the actual overseas deployment. But hey, I will take whatever time I can get right?
