Good afternoon Popers !

Today is cleaning day around this house too. I did pretty good on laundry all weekend but didn't bother to put it away ! I hate that job !!

Then Ella and I need to go grocery shopping before Austin comes home from school.

me I just got back from Old navy... yeay!!! I got 1 pair of jeans.. 1 size down! still big but working on it ....LOL

on the sad note.. my Baby got a booooboooooooooooo waaaaaaaaaaaaah I found this on my way out...

Just a photo of the Pirate and Princess Party 'jewels' they hand out. At the door they told us that the kids under 3 can't have any, but every X that we hit gave them to all 4 of us. So who knows! hahaha!!

The map was really neat looking, it was my fave souvenir! haha!!

Tink that stinks, Your probaly more upset than the other people are, don't worry. Ants what hit your window?? Good luck with it.

So anyway last night at work we get a " Rescue" run, someone has called 911 she is elderly and reported that she is in bed and can't breath. She told the 911 dispatcher her door is locked and there is no way she can get to it and open it.

Anyway i figured we would have to break down her door, people always get mad when we do that. We don't have master keys, for somereason people think we do. Anyway when we got there her neighbor, came out and had a set of spare keys , so we got into the house no problem. Her 2 pound maltese dog, thought he was a 90 pound pitbull or something. He grabbed a hold of the bottom of my turn out pants and would not let go, almost tripping me.

He ended up putting him in the bathroom and locking him inside. We find this lady and she is having a realy hard time breating, her lips are blue and you can clearly make out a major wheze. I hooked her up to out Ekg monitor and start to read the Ekg strip, she is having a MAJOR heart attack. She said i don't feel right and died right in front of us, the EKG machine started to beep and she went Flat line.

We get her on the floor and start cpr, as well as pushing medication into her I.V., in a matter of 15 minutes we get her heart beating again and in a another 15 minutes she is awake, although very confused, is talking to us. Last i heard she made it thru cardiac surgery for conaory artery blockages and will be in the hospital for a week or so, and will make a full recovery.

With close to 10 years on, these things still amaze me. To watch someone Die right in front of you, and to bring them back to life within 15 minutes, is just simply amazing. After all this, i think " oh no the dog", he is still locked in the bathroom, so we go back and convice the neighbor to look after him and feed him. As first the neighbor said no, but as we explained that he had tenants living in his basement which was illegal and a major fire hazzard, and the fine is $30,000 or taking care of ones dog for a week or 2.

He choose to skip the thirty thousand dollar fine and choose the taking care of her dog for a week or two, smart guy, huh??

Still you learn to really live your life, when you see things like that. We have a rookie with us and he was all excitied, he was saying how "she died and then we brought her back to life" you would have thoought this rookie hit the lottery for millions, all night he talked about this and even called his familt at close to 1 am to tell them what happened. I gonna try to go over to the hospital tomorrow to visit her and assure her that her puppy is being taking care of.

PJ-awesome story. Glad she will be okay.

Timmy-does your state have zero deductable on glass? Ours does. I was FREAKING out when I went to a Patriots game in Miami against the Dolphins, and my friends and these strangers were playing football... and yes, my windshield got shattered! It was my parents car and I was FREAKING!!!! BUT, when I managed to call home and tell my parents, they said all was okay, and the insurance company worked directly with the glass place and it all was covered. Good Luck!

nope it is not covered with the insurance and nope it no such thing as zero deductible

I was driving behind a sand truck Sunday PM and all I heard wasa stone hitting the glass no crack yet but this morning it was there...

My aunt just had this happen to her on the Hwy, she wrote down the name of the company on the truck, the truck number, time and date and pulled over and called right away.

They are covering her new windshield.

Hi gang,

I have to go to ds school. They were talking about the FDNY on friday and ds teacher asked me to come in today and talk to his class, he is so excitied. I am so nervous, you would think that i have to go live on tv or something. The kids had a lot of questions, that the teacher did not know the answer too, so she asked me to come in and explain some of the things that we do.

Dw told me to not tell them the the gory stuff, i was like i know. Still i find myself wondering what to discuss with them. I guess i will just try to answer thier questions. I know for sure one of them will ask if i ever seen a dead person, kids always seem to ask that question.

Hey gang,

I'm home from school. Wow, kids these days watch too much tv! One of them asked about something he saw on tv, apperantly someone was ripped in half and was able to live and this kid wanted to know if someone is ripped in half, can they really live?

I was like where did you see that?? He told me on tv, the kids were really cool, alot of them wanted to know what to do in case of a fire or medical emergency. Some said that they would help out at the scene of a fire, i had to explain to them to just stay low and get out of the house.

Some of them amazed me on thier knowledge, one of them said to close the door so the fire can't spread and that some trees are fire proof, which btw is very true. Still the kids were very cute, my son was so proud. I'm glad i got to chance to speak with his class. As i have never been asked to do this before, i really had a good time.

All right gang, i am now switching into Mr. mom mode and actually gonna do a spring cleaning. The sink is full of dishes, i make it sound so hard, but actually we have a dish washer, so all i have to do is load the thing and press the "on" button. Dw drives me nuts with this thing, she actually washes each dish and other dishware, then puts them into the dishwasher to be cleaned. I said to her, you know when you get done with them, they are already clean, so why put them in the dishwasher?? She said so they get cleaner.

Blahhh just got home from the Doc. Autumn got better and Gabriel took a turn for the worst. He got all limp and had a fever of 103.6 it was terrifying!
He has an ear infection and the flu

1 - YES - I sat down with both Danny and Jimmy and said - where we going, what we eating. Im ready. I just need the day to make my adr's to come. One dinner in particular will be with a couple who talk funny.
