Popcorn in Buena Vista Theater

My DS was so excited that he could go see a new movie on board (DD is hoping for the Lindsay Lohan Drama Queen movie, I'm hoping for Miracle), he was wondering if they served popcorn in the theater. I had never thought of that. I can't remember the last time we went to a movie and didn't have popcorn and/or candy. Maybe it's a good thing if they don't have it with all the other fattening things they have on the ship

They do not serve popcorn, but we have purchased it in the small duty free shop on the ship where they sell alcohol and cigars- sorry but the name escapes me right now- I remember the first time we brought the popcorn in to the movie everyone around us asked where we got it and we started quite a trend.

Here's a thought.........when I went, the couple beside me had ordered room service milk and a plate of chocolate chip cookies and brought them with them to the movie....the possibilites are endless!!!

Candy & pre-packaged popcorn is available at the snack shop (Preludes). Room service cookies are an excellent choice. Some people actually get m&m's from Scoops, bag them and bring them to the theater for snacks.

Why not purchase a bag of popcorn and individual candy to take with you. You can put the popcorn in baggies to take with you. Even if you purchase popcorn on the ship I would take my own candy.

That's what we do. I already have a big bag of Skittles and a bag of something sour DS wanted packed to put into little baggies and bring into shows with us. And I order those awesome oatmeal raisin cookies from room service and bring them *everywhere* with me. I always get jealous looks during bingo.

Is it possible for me to bring a couple bags of microwavable popcorn with me and then use a microwave somewhere?

Can't imagine going to a movie without some popcorn...

You will not have access to a microwave.

Hard to believe that on a ship the size of the Magic, that there isn't a microwave available to the passengers SOMEWHERE on board. What do parents do when they need to warm up a bottle for a young one?

We were on the Dec13 Magic and there was alittle stand outside the theater that sold can drinks and popcorn. They were also very reasonable
