Does Disney Wonder sell popcorn, soda and snacks right outside the theatre; or they just provide them for free?

If not, can we bring in own drink and snacks?

I know that when we were on the Magic two years ago, there was NOT a concession stand. I can't remember if they allow snacks in the theater. Even if they don't, you can have snacks before and after because food is available 24/7--Hope this helps a little

I'm not sure about whether snacks are allowed in the Walt Disney Theatre but I am pretty sure there are drink holders built right into the seat arms.
Now that I think about it I seem to recall them having popcorn available outside the Movie theatre. I don't remember if there was a fee for this or not. I would think not but I am not sure.

On all my Wonder Cruises Preludes was open before the main show.. it sold candy, sodas, snacks, etc (similar to the snacks and candy sold in the parks) and you could bring it into the theather. It was like a little concession stand.

Also, there were people walking thru the theater selling the specialty smoothies..

As far as the smaller movie theater goes, I would just bring stuff down from deck 9 and eat it.. and I brought sodas on board and just drank them.

I can only assume the Magic has something similar to Preludes--guess I will find out in a few weeks :)

There is pre bagged popcorn, candy and soda outside the movie theatre on the Wonder. It is not free...my kids bought some of the popcorn but did not eat it, because it wasn't very good. :(

This thread just gave me a good idea for some items for my DSs gift baskets for our cruise. Since the popcorn and snacks aren't free for the movies, I'm going to ask Shirley if she can include some of their favorite "movie theater" candy and some cans of soda, then they can take them with them if/when they go to see a movie during the cruise :)

The Walt Disney theater does have Preludes, which is open before the big shows. They sell Disney type candy, etc. We did get popcorn for our son since he really likes popcorn. It wasn't great, wasn't horrible. It's the bagged stuff, so if you're expecting fresh popped, don't waste the $. The bar side has drinks for sale, and before the show, they go through selling smoothies. You can refill your mugs there as well.

Some of the movies in the Buena Vista theater had a table set up out front selling popcorn, etc. but it wasn't every show.

I was on the past Easter cruise and outside the main movie theater there was a concession stand selling popcorn and candy. As soon as the movie started, the concession stand man left. I can vouch tghat the popcorn was not that good but the candy was just like the movie theaters on land. Expensive but good!!!!

I wonder why they don't have regular popcorn poppers like movie theaters do. I would think they'd make good money from offering freshly made popcorn for the shows/movies.

The drinks were all about $4 inside the theater (Bahama Mamas, smoothies), and the candy outside was a little expensive. My boyfriend bought a plain chocolate candy bar for $3 at Preludes. All of the popcorn offered was in pre-popped bags, most of which were still full laying on the floor after each show. Not many people enjoyed them.

I did see a few people bring in ice cream and hot dogs from Pluto's/Scoops during the show, and no one had a problem with it...so, you could always do that, too :)

we had a bag of Smartfood cheese popcorn and it was fine

was sold out side of walt disney th.....

Right b4 the movie i ordered milk from room service. They told me how long and as i went to our room the room service was right outside. chocolate milk and regular. we had the unlimited soda mugs so we had plenty of soda the trip. Noone complained about milk, they were so happy to be seeing [whatever great movie] santa clause 2 at the time.

what about Nachos/Wings, from Diversions/ESPN club?

Potatoe chips from Pluto's

Someone once upon a time, mentioned hitting the scoops for m&m's and other sundae toppings

any other scavenger snacks for movie time?

Chattyaholic,

They do not have the popper because of the fire hazard (and the need for fire prevention equipment at the popper). Would ruin the decor...

Are there microwaves anywhere for guest use if we bring our own??

Was this on the Magic, or did we just have a pickey CM?
DGS tried to bring a hot dog and stuff in the theater on the Wonder when pirates of the carib opened in july. We were told he could not take it in there with him and would have to eat it before going in. So DH went ahead and grabbed our seats while I waited with GS so he could eat.
